Yeah, I learned as I rated other games that faster-paced games work better for game jams so people can get the feel for it sooner and rate more games 😅 But honestly I'm happy I erred in the too-slow direction this time because my tendency has been to make things too hard.

And I'm glad you liked the music, it was my first time writing jazz music and my first time recording my own music rather than making the computer play it. It's actually based on the original PacMan theme, slowed WAY down and jazzified.

Very nice game. Though using a sword made me think at first that I should be jumping to slash at the bots, but that didn't end well, and it took a long time to charge up to be able to fire at them... I don't know if there's another intended way to attack them, but if range is the main mechanic, perhaps either a different weapon or some modification to the sword could be made to make that more clear.

Nice original take on the theme -- wouldn't have thought to look at the plague from inside the body. The attack phase could maybe do with a little more action to make it feel less like waiting for the phase to end. And spending all of my health on melee after just 2 ranged seemed a little over-powered. I only lost because I wasn't paying attention! Lol
