Hmm, I think you have a really great idea here, actually, like it gets pretty fun a little while in. I think it mostly needs to be sped up, Or started with many plants already grown. But the changing map thing felt really good. The music was a great choice, that made it still work with the slower pace.

Yeah, I learned as I rated other games that faster-paced games work better for game jams so people can get the feel for it sooner and rate more games 😅 But honestly I'm happy I erred in the too-slow direction this time because my tendency has been to make things too hard.

And I'm glad you liked the music, it was my first time writing jazz music and my first time recording my own music rather than making the computer play it. It's actually based on the original PacMan theme, slowed WAY down and jazzified.

I love how the scenario and coffee beans appears while you keep playing the game. I also love the ghostly dog! :D

I like the colors you used for the art and the music was very relaxing for me, I kept playing it a while. Cool game!

I never thought about having the maze grow around you in a pac-man style game. That was a cool idea!

Simple and solid game, with impressive procedural generation. There were never any permanently cut off pathways over the course of my play. I like that there are the five different ghost types, but I think you might need to have them spawn more quickly to keep the game interesting. I would also recommend adding some sort of end condition, as I felt that I could just keep going on indefinitely. But nice work overall!

Heyo! Pretty neat game, cool to see a game in bevy! 

I really enjoyed the game progress, the maze generation and the different ghosts. But I didn't like that the game had a lose codition and just kept going.
