Using the plague theme for a tower defence game is a nice idea!
I do not know why but the music would make me SUPER AGGRESSIVE normally. In this case it calmed me down (it must be magic!).
I played your game in a short YouTube video - feel free to check it out yourself:
Awesome! Thank you for sharing the stream video!
Nice original take on the theme -- wouldn't have thought to look at the plague from inside the body. The attack phase could maybe do with a little more action to make it feel less like waiting for the phase to end. And spending all of my health on melee after just 2 ranged seemed a little over-powered. I only lost because I wasn't paying attention! Lol
Very cool idea, had me addicted. Always going for the leucocytes creating a barrier and using the slo-mo wisely. Cool and chill music. Very good
neat and challenging tower defense game. It was pretty satisfying building a mesh of melee defenders though when I tried to start saving money to buy more ranged I kept losing so it seemed like my options were limited.
The art and music fit pretty well. If you decide to expand on this idea I think it could be interesting to have some variety to the levels (maybe tapered blood vessels?) or "boss" battles, or more defender types or additional special moves.
Nice job overall though.
Thank you for the feedback! A boss was the next thing we were working on but realized we weren't going to pull it off in time for the jam. It would've felt so much better with a boss, though.
Simple, but fun.
This was a really nice, relaxing defence game - nice work!
Loving those visuals too, feels very nostalgic to something like Warioware strangely
Wow! This is like, the opposite of my entry. xD
Good job. :)
