I am sure I have played many games like this before BUT to be fair, its never playing as a shield and its never descending down.

I will say though, I hated those god-awful animations but at least the texturing is pretty good and the font matches the game asthetic, well so long as you ignore those arrow symbols taken from the typeface Century Gothic which is used in the help menu...

This game idea has probably been done before (obv. before this Game Jam) and the game is increadibly short with on target AI, I got the game completed in like 5 mins where the game just effectively told me it was over.

The game is quite frustrating though which makes it kinda fun.

I will also put that adding a 3D effect with a specialised game mechanic would make this game kilometers better than where it currently stands...

I like the art and the music BUT:

  • It just feels like a standard mario or Commander Keen-style game (aka platformer) but with the controls reversed (for some reason) and the ability to rotate the map to different angles otherwise the game would be unbeatable
  • There are also some bugs in the game, in which the developer has already mentioned on the game's Itch.Io page but the one listed really should have been patched before release.

Cool game graphics and sound, looks very Amiga A200-esque G/S but gameplay wise is quite lacking and it just looks like a mario clone except you have to hide from the people your following and any random enemies which is not well explained but is kinda obvious after you play 2 rounds or so...

Before I loaded the game, I expected it to be like a standard Flappy Bird field where you would have to change the environment around you so that the bird does not crash into any of the map objects, instead what I found is that it was like standard Flappy Bird but with worse controls and the same level of detail as the original...

Cool game with nice audio which is quite funny BUT:

  • Not very creative, I am sure I have tried a 3d or real-world physics version of Tetris before
  • There is no telling as to when you will fail in the game
  • And it feels like the game is trying to emulate the comedy of Untitled Goose Game but with worse graphics limited to the field of a standard Tetris puzzle

I was not a fan of this game at all; there is barely any new game mechanics not tried before, all it really is, just like one of those old mobile games from like 2006 where you drive a car weaving in and out of road objects  except here it is vertical and you are following a blocky, untextured cameraman with zero potential to fail or at least that's what I found...
