That is true! But there is currently no way to detect wether you're playing on an arcade... so we'll have to manually make an arcade edition for that.

You can play against an AI if you select it during character select. simply press right with the 2nd player's controller on the screen where it says "HUMAN" or "CPU EASY/HARD"

Thank you!

no? it must be a problem with your keyboard

we may have a bit different terms for things... do you mean up attack or dash attack maybe?

The problem isn't paying for the servers, it's setting up the servers. Network isn't really my thing programming wise, and it's especially difficult in Godot 3 (which I'm using for Monster Battlegrounds), which has much less developed online features compared to Godot 4. Therefore my comments on a budget earlier.

Thank you!

And with which keys is it happening?

is this happenng in browser, Windows or Linux?

probably not, unless someone helps me out with it or I get some sort of large budget, which is not too likely

hah! you did a good job actually using the game's art style, looks nice!

nice work :) well fleshed out moveset.

Have fun, I'm looking forward to it!

I don't know currently... it will take a while probably

Thank you!

could you send me a bit of a clearer picture of the moveset? The image is a little bit blurry

have you been making pixel art too? regardless, very interesting, let me know please. I've been kind of busy with other projects but I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying the game. You can show me the character idea here if that's possible, or you can mail me at weentertheperson@gmail.com , or let me know on my discord (weentermg). I will continue on the game eventually, it's not done

thank you!

Thanks for playing and thanks for letting me know some issues. I tried to implement keybinding but it was surprisingly hard ;(, but I've heard from a couple of players that the player 2 controls are a bit off... so if you have any suggestions on how I can adjust them, let me know!

Thank you. I probably should not have let it bother me as much as it did, but it happened right after I just had some free time to work on the game for the first time in 4 months. So seeing stuff like that (it felt worse cause I thought it was many people) made me extremely demotivated to work on the game.

I've worked a bit on the game since the last update and in the developer build I have, I already removed the message, but then I never ended up finishing the update :/ . I guess I should continue with that cause I've seen a lot of people in comments who care about the game with valid criticisms, and I still have some content (not that much) which is unreleased. Let me know if there's something you want to see in the next update, if you're still interested.

The cabin at the start of the game is all the way at the bottom of the camp. There should be a glowy light that you can walk in to enter the cabin.

Once you have been through that cutscene, you can just walk towards a door to enter buildings.

Siiiiiccckkk graphics!

Hell yeah

Better gameplay than fallout 76. Cool idea! Are you planning on learning to code?

Cool game and smart idea!

Cool game! it's way harder than it looks...

Look mom, I'm an engineer!

Anyways very cool concept and art

Very relaxing yet stressful game, how do they do it? I also really like the art style!

Thank you so much!

Haha! It's too late for our team to not go monkey mode :,) . Barely any sleep but it sure was fun. The design of your mechanics was also really good, I've been thinking for a bit and I finally think I understand how the camera focus mechanic works (programming wise). It was a really cool effect. In the 4th level when I was walking through those rings, I almost for a second thought you guys has non-uclidean worlds (you kind of do actually), but I recommend looking into it if you wanted to make a full release of the game. If this went mainstream it would blow everyone's mind. I'm sure you could pull it off. Anyways, hope you expand on this game, future GMTK jam winners.

Super nice art and the characters had a lot of personality

Very creative, very funny, I enjoyed it a lot fellow godzilla game developer.

Cute pixel art and good mechanics!

What a fantastic game! I was absolutely mind-blown by the mechanics, and I am genuinely confused how you made a game that's so polished and creative with so little time! How large was the team for this? the art also looks amazing and the music sets the vibe really well. 5/5/5 from me!

very good job! especially for your first jam :) you clearly have an artist's background as it's very stylish.

It took a little while to understand but then it made sense. pretty cool game, we have a pretty similar theme going on.

The art style is very good! also good music!

not soon probably

I love hearing that!
