You crushed Crocodile Maldido 2.7! Seriously impressive. As a reward for beating my challenge, Liminal Leap Episode 3 (which is coming soon ) is on me.

it's a long story , the original name was the last fry stand , but when i got back my wenudu account here i reuploaded with another name, but maybe the original name was better, what do you think?

A melee option actually sounds like a great idea—smacking those birds with a flashlight might be oddly satisfying! 😆 Appreciate the feedback, and thanks for the kind words!

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere, performance, and immersion. The birds were meant to add tension, but I understand they might feel overwhelming. I’ll take this into account for future updates to make sure they enhance the experience without becoming frustrating. Appreciate your input!

just use the right mouse button directly on the door

The antivirus thing is normal. When you download or create a standalone build of a game or application made with Unreal Engine (or any engine, for that matter), it's no longer associated with a trusted distributor like Steam. The antivirus sees a new, unfamiliar executable file. Because it's not coming from a known source, the antivirus is more likely to be cautious and flag it, even if the file is perfectly safe. It's essentially an "unknown program" to the antivirus.

Haha, that's a good one! Maybe I missed a marketing opportunity there.

Good catch! Crispystars is another account I own. I ran into some problems with my Wenudu account a while back (it got corrupted/broken/something like that), so I set up Crispystars as a backup. Both accounts are mine, so there's no issue with the games.

You're very welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'd love to see a video of your playthrough if you make one!

You're welcome. Sharing your video would be great! Please do so here.

Thank you for playing my games. Both songs, the one playing on the radio and the ending song, are new original songs that I made for this game using AI. I love them both, especially the one on the radio. It's very relaxing.

"while editing my video" ahahaha

i did contact itch.io support, i sent them about 10 emails but they didn't explain what happened. What i know is that i never had this kind of problems before, never. All started with Crocodile Maldido, and now everyone telling me that is normal that if i upload a new package to fix some bugs and make the game better, all my game disappear from listing and with that all my ranking (Crocodile Maldido reached number 6 in "New & Popular") killing the game. That doesn't sound normal to me.

I understand what you are saying, but what i am saying is different and i don't know why you alwasy try to divert the topic. I will try to explain again. You said that if i make changes the game could be  unlisted for a new review...fine, but why also my other games got deleted from search and list? So... are you saying that if i make a change on one game, all games i published in the past will be hidden for a couple of days as well? Please explain because i donn't get it.

so every time i upload a new version the game will be hidden for couple of days? that is insane, better not do any change and make a new game instead.

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out because I'm experiencing an issue with my itch.io listings. Today, I noticed that some of my games, including the recently updated Crocodile Maldido, have disappeared from search and browse.

This is actually the second time this has happened with Crocodile Maldido ( https://wenudu.itch.io/crocodile-maldido ).  Three days ago, the game was unlisted, and after contacting itch.io support with several emails, it was reinstated.

It's strange that only some of my games are affected, as The Statue remains listed. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered similar issues or if there might be an explanation for this recurring problem.

I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions the community might have. Thank you!

Hey everyone!  I've got some huge news for all you Crocodile Maldido fans out there. We've just released a NEW version that's gonna blow your minds!

Crocodile Maldido: Angrier Than Ever

Let's start with the big one: Crocodile Maldido is more angry than ever. I mean, we're talking next-level rage here. He's faster, stronger, and his attacks are absolutely brutal. You're gonna need to be on your toes to survive!

New Enemy: Sewer Menace

But that's not all. Lurking deep in the sewers, a new enemy awaits. I won't spoil too much, but let's just say you're gonna need to be prepared for a slimy surprise.

So, there you have it! A major update for Crocodile Maldido, featuring a more enraged crocodile and a new, slimy enemy. Let me know in the comments below wha you think. See you next time!

UPDATE

After 10 emails they answered and they put back my games saying "now your project has been properly indexed" ....Now? wait it was properly listed and indexed 3 days ago and performed very good for 2 day and then it disappeared from the store, but the most important is that it disappeared also form the "New and Popular" where all the traffic was coming from. and now they put it back and dont even say why it disappeared for 3 days. but now the game is dead because it lost all its ranking.

Crocodile Maldido: From Sewer Star to Search Slump

Hey everyone! Today I want to talk about my recent experience with itch.io and my game, Crocodile Maldido.

Look, I'm not gonna lie. When I uploaded Crocodile Maldido, a free horror game about a sewer-dwelling croc, things were going great! It shot straight into the "Best New Horror Games" list, landing at number 6! That's insane for a solo developer like me. Views were climbing, hitting around 2,000 in a short time, and even some generous folks sent donations. I felt like I might finally have a hit on my hands!

But then... poof. Nothing. My game vanished from search results. It wasn't even listed anymore. Talk about a total bummer! I reached out to itch.io support about this, but after two days, still no response.

https://wenudu.itch.io/crocodile-maldido

It's frustrating, you know? This could have been a breakout moment for Crocodile Maldido, and now it feels like that chance has slipped away. Don't get me wrong, I love itch.io as a platform, but this whole situation has me feeling pretty discouraged. (i might end up making my own game platform)

Alright, jokes aside. Dwelling on the negative won't help. So....

Stay tuned!

I'll keep you guys updated on what happens with Crocodile Maldido. In the meantime, let me know in the comments if you've ever experienced something similar on itch.io. Let's share some tips and keep building this awesome indie game community!

UPDATE

Since itch.io doesn't answer i uploaded another game.....well the same game but with a slightly different name. Crocodile Maldito instead of Crocodile Maldido. After few minutes i received the email that says that my game is published and it appears in "Recently added" but that is not true, the game doesn't appear in recently added even after 30 minutes of page reloading, i see all new added games but not mine.

Thanks for playing my game
Dancing with the croc is definitely a new one for me, that sounds like a hilarious and memorable experience!
I love hearing about players who find unexpected ways to interact with the game, like that dedly double trap, i really enjoyed a lot watching it.

Hey Bobe-wan, thanks so much for the awesome review! I watched your gameplay video and i enjoyed it a lot.  The tension and safe rooms were definitely designed to keep players on their toes, so it's great to hear that they worked well for you. I'm also glad you enjoyed the graphics and sound effects. They were a big part of creating that immersive experience.

¡Muchas gracias por jugar y compartir tu experiencia! ¿Hay algo que te gustaría ver en futuras actualizaciones?

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the spooky atmosphere. We're working hard on more updates, so stay tuned.

its not a box, its a step

It turned out you were right. There was a glitch with the portal paper in the inventory. I've fixed it. Thank you very much for your feedback. let me know if you need to download the latest version which is 3.5.6

That's very strange. I've checked thoroughly but couldn't reproduce the issue you described. It might be a corrupted save checkpoint. In that case, I recommend loading a previous checkpoint or deleting the save files in LiminalLeap\Saved\SaveGames to start anew. If that doesn't resolve the problem, please try downloading the latest version. I'll continue investigating to see if I can replicate the glitch. Thank you for reporting it.

what version did you download?

(1 edit)

If you had taken the time to read carefully, you would know that it's only for the next 200 downloads. It's normal for this to happen. Even Epic Games gives away AAA games for free every week, and no one complains about that. The game will return to its paid status shortly if that eases your mind. Consider the two dollars as a small contribution to support the developer, which is the primary purpose of this platform. While we occasionally offer free content, we also rely on these small donations to sustain our work.

Balancing performance across different hardware configurations can be demanding, especially for a single-developer project. Anyway the minimum spec. required is an rtx 2060, which means all the rtx gpu, and i think its a pretty wide range

Yes. The free game test has indeed ended. We appreciate your interest. The paid version offers additional features, including the ability to save your game at specific checkpoints.

The game was free during the itch.io jam to get player feedback and test new ideas. We appreciate your interest! The current small fee allows us to keep improving the game based on feedback and add exciting features in the future.

you can't run this game with a vega 3 im sorry, minimum spec. rtx 2060
