Bes time 1:22 my employees are too angy

I mean, Fire is just the best, the other two are only debatably good.

No way it is mort (real)

This game really does need an updated demo. This demo is good, but dang the full game is just so much more up-to-date and better.

Pretty cool, not gonna lie. Loved the dialogue, the jokes didn't try too hard, and they didn't try to overpower the plot in my opinion.

Nice little game.

Tutel

Cool little game, cute pixel art

Elaborate?

Difficult.
Very cool game though.

Sus

Maze was originally gonna be less annoying because only one ingredient would be held in it, but I had to cut the three other areas for time.

Quite the game lol.

I like it.

It sometimes takes a while to load.

I guess I'm just that good 😉

Is this an attempt at flattery so we'll let our guard down leaving us open for you to attack?
Because if so, I can see right through you.

Ayo Howdy Co.!

If you're on the Making Games Together discord, come join us at the Howdy Co. Thread in the Introductions channel 😉

You're the first person to point out that difficulty curve, and I think I could flip it around to work the right direction if the maze gets a little bigger and changes after every item.

Thanks for the feedback!

Oh yeah no if you make her cooperative suddenly it's not a realistic cat ;)

More predictable is good.

Very interesting game.

Was kind of challenging (and funny to me) how realistic the cat's little brain is, which is to say, not cooperative sometimes, but definitely creative overall!

(1 edit)

Was a little confused at first because I saw "shoot" in the instructions but couldn't even see my cursor immediately. It became apparent what I was supposed to do pretty quickly though, you definitely get good points for simplicity.

All in all enjoyable small little game!

Hey that's okay, the maze originally was gonna contain only one ingredient with three elsewhere but I had to change that for time.

Hey I'll keep that minimap idea in mind for the sequel. And about the different maze for each item, the map was originally going to have three more sectors and only have one ingredient in the maze and three elsewhere, but that was changed for time.

Hey that's a good suggestion. I'm planning to make a sequel to this game that is the whole concept of what I wanted in this that I had to cut for time, I'll keep that idea in mind for that.

Hey don't worry, I placed everything in the maze and I get stuck nearly constantly lol. I eventually learned my way around in testing.

Ouch that pun emotionally hurt me.

The maze for sure could do with some adjustment. At the time I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to make a new one, now I'm absolutely sure I do but it's too late lol.

Interesting concept for the gameplay.

Noticed a bug where if you click the player repeatedly after they've started moving the sounds play again.

Other than that, good game that just needs more levels.

BAD PUN REPORTED
SEND TARGET FREE CAKE

Little bit of bias ofc but this game was quite fun to play.

Having followed the development of this game on Making Games Together, I was excited to play it.
And I will say, it was fun, but the one criticism I have is the constant getting stuck on the walls.

Also, first moving platform can be completely skipped with a good jump.

All in all, though: Wowie.

Simple concept, very challenging, but I like it. First try I made it to wave 13 and haven't been able to replicate that yet 😆.

I managed a 3:59.1 on easy

I friggin' hope I can make my games' controls feel as smooth as this one's.

Web build doesn't work for me, it doesn't show the full screen.

I quite like the game, but it would benefit from a little more length.

If you plan to update this, you could also try, blocks that move left and right.

Good to see you know when there's puns at play.

Well okay then.

Howdy.

Howdy.

Was there more of that message you just didn't bother to add? Or is that it?

lol just wondering.

Some of you may be familiar with me from the Ducktape discord, but incase you aren't, howdy, I'm WhatAboutDusbunny, or just Dustbunny (I even go by just Dusty sometimes 🙂).

I'm here to wish you all good luck with the Jam, and to remind you that, in the end, it's all about having fun making things.

I hope you all manage to finish something cool, and also have a good time doing it.

People will be able to play the games before the Jam ends. Also there's no real reason to believe the end of the world will have happened by then.
