Thanks for the review !
I actually added a secondary objective in visiting the lamp Posts scattered around the map in my second update :)
I'm amazed you made so much in so little time.
My thoughts : the beginning is really hard since there's no way to get all the meteorites. then you get do many turrets and guns that you don't have to do anything. It's really fulfilling for a while but there is no "end".
Nitpicks aside, this is a really good game !
Space invader meets bowling meets rockets !
I could see this developed into a real game :)
Small nitpick : i would really have liked to see more of the rocket swarm while i'm steering it.
Also, the choices in the shop don't offer any cost-balancing dilemma for the player : they all have a 1 kill -> 1 rocket ratio, so you just use whichever is closest to your kill count. I feel there's an opportunity missed here.
Good job !
i get some really "VR game" vibes here :)
good 3d skills ! except on the rice. it took me a long time to realize what the rectangle plate was. maybe make it a ball before it gets added to the sushi ?
I don't have anymore feedback to give really. The gameplay is hectic and I end up losing money and putting food everywhere, getting it off the ground and stuff, but that's probably how it's meant to be played
Nice game ! fits the theme well : nobody can ignore gianormous pools of lava
I see you went for creating a sense of urgency with the potion that comes back just in time ;)
Nitpick : having to wait for the potion multiple times once you reached a platform breaks the pace of the game... maybe make it give all your health back at once on a platform ?
Also, the health restored feels really small : maybe restore more less often or make the healthbar bigger.
I also found an exploit : if you spam spacebar on a platform you can get the heal to be instantaneous until the next platform.
Cheers :)
First of all the polish on this is astounding. menu, music, graphics, gameplay are all good quality.
The concept is original. Reminds me of starlord's adoptive father in Guardians of the galaxy.
As some have pointed though, the syringe is really hard to handle. The furthest i got was using it as sword pivoting it around with my character on top. Having to "refuel" the syringe is getting me killed times out of ten :)
As a mechanic, that last one got me ambivalent : i see that it gets the player to strategize and anticipate for your syringe to expire, but it's really harsh...
Well the game consists of moving through random points, rinse and repeat. The vortex are nice, but other than get rid of the happy beanies in your way, they don't do much. I think that there's room for some additional complexity. Something as simple as per example the score being a count of all happy beanies, so you actually have to save them.
Other Nitpick : there is no indication that you are getting near the end, you could up the tension by having something in the background change over time.
Wow. you did this in 3 days. Man i'm blown
Some Nitpicks : i's hard to predict the results of a dash. Also, most of the environment isn't in view which. Combined together it makes the experience disorienting. And last thing, voice-over overlaps, but i think it's polish you would have added in time.
Nice voice-over :)
