This was hysterical. From the cutscenes to the plot to the artwork, this was hilarious across the board. Loved the visual stile and all the visual gags, and Ryan's animations were great. Would have loved a bit more variation in the events (if I have to swat one more goddamned fly), but there's lots of room to work here! Great submission, and a hilarious game!

Super cool idea! Loved the variety of shapes and weapons, and the overall sleek look of the game, looks super polished. Ended up losing a few times before getting the hang of it, but had a total blast. Being able to move around your towers is super helpful (and so is the fact that they still shoot while you're holding them XD). Would love some more notice of when / where they'll be falling of the rails. Maybe they get more red as they get closer to coming off? Or maybe the track is damaged at sections, and you have to repair it? All in all, a super fun entry I spent a little too long playing haha
Love the micromanagement idea! Pickles is truly a terrifying villain, and sliding around the boat while trying to escape was a blast! The screw minigame was super fun, and putting the food back in Pickles' cage was a neat mechanic. Had a few issues here and there with minigames not opening, but was a lot of fun! Could totally see a bigger boat with even more minigames hidden around. Great work!
Also, had some issues with the web build, looks like it's cropped a bit too small. Windows build worked great!
That was really fun! Took me a minute to orient myself, but eventually found a nice groove there! I love the idea of managing a bunch of resources to achieve your goal indirectly, and having the drone be weighed down by the resources it was carrying was a nice touch. I'd love to see a camera following the drone to make running into obstacles that much more stressful. All in all, great submission!
Cool concept! Loved the idea of holding your wheels on as you drove, and making those corners even trickier and scarier to navigate! The visuals were great and crashing through the boxes looked and felt super satisfying! I got a bit confused on left click vs right click with the holding vs repairing, but all in all, I had a ton of fun. A great environment and a great concept, nice work!
Such a great idea! Having to control both paddles is super tricky to pick up off the bat, but creates a really fun challenge. The ball's collisions with the paddles felt accurate and I managed to get good enough to grab the square on my second or third bounce consistently. Would love to see this expanded upon with some faster movement or some repercussions for not getting the square in time. Great work, and a great jam entry!
although i can't rate this game, i will still give it some feedback.
loved this idea, i thought the combination of platformer and topdown was so clever, and the use of classic nintendo games was hilarious. it's impressive how much content you managed to pack in here in such a short amount of time, really fleshed out both games content-wise.
my biggest issue is that i eventually stopped playing the left side, and just focused on the right. other than just controls, there was no real link (pun not intended) between the two games. would have loved to have seen some interaction between the two worlds.
great entry, and great application of the theme!
thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it. definitely should have had some more clarification in game for what these things do, retrospectively...
starting the game, 7 people need to see you for you to get shot down. for every "target" you abduct, that number increases by one. abduct the wrong house, that number decreases. something to add some interesting balancing around round 7-8, once more factories start appearing.
speaking of factories, the point of the radar was originally to see the weighting of the different buildings: camps are 1, houses and windmills are 2, and factories/apartments are 3. these numbers decrease by one on the diagonals... was a last ditch effort to make it clear to the player what buildings are scary etc...
hopefully that clears a couple things up, thanks for playing!
