Arigatou gozaimasu! I watched your video and enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for playing! :D

Sensational game! I'm not very good at controlling the little bird, managed to get to the snake but had to give up. Very beautiful and such a nice take on the theme, well done! Will definitely give it another go until I defeat them all :D.

Thank you! Inspired by the spin master himself, Sonic, and a little bit of Blasphemous :D.

I watched the entire thing, you made it look easy lol! I'll definitely try beating them all again! So good, well done!

I haven't beat all the bosses, and I think it's going to take me a lot of tries to do that, but I had a lot of fun! I like the simplicity of the controls - I was able to just jump right in and understand immediately what I had to do. Very well done, would love to see an expert play this!

Thank you! The third boss has just 1 more life than the second :D (well...as of the first update, it has 3 more lives, but that's because I made it so that the paws now take damage too). I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yay, thank you! :D

Thank you, and thank your friend too! I wasn't sure if anyone was gonna notice the cracks, glad you did :D.

Thank you so much!

Good work!

I like how hitting the 'third leg' causes more damage XD, and how, I think, you anticipate what players would likely do and come up with a way to prevent cheesing in your game design (thought I could just camp at the bottom for the yellow boss, for example...nope lol).

Have you thought about just having the shooting being automatic? I find myself just holding down the shoot button anyway, since there are no resources I need to keep track of other than my HP.

Overall, I like the game! Looking forward to the fourth boss!

This comment cracked me up XD. There are only 4 bosses for this build, keep trying, you can do it!

Thanks so much! I've a tendency to make games about smol animals :D.

Thank you! Will work on expanding it after the jam!

Oh, thank you! I wasn't expecting anyone to play it yet haha! Much appreciated! I do have plans to expand the game regardless of how it performs in the jam, but for now, decided to just keep it simple-ish. I will definitely be checking out your game too!

Trigger Warning: mental health, death

Cool little hardcore-ish platformer with an interesting narrative laying down the harsh truth about how things often work in real life. In a lot of cases, sticking to one's own values in anticipation of getting acknowledged is no match to someone else who knows how to play the game of deceit by concealing and appealing to the mass.

The game controls are smooth. There were minor issues, such as sliding off moving platforms when too close to the edge. The spinning platforms felt like they relied more on luck than skill - perhaps having them only spin at intervals could alleviate this.

Overall, a fun little game with an interesting storyline that I feel is probably derived from the creator's own experiences.

Aw, thank you for playing! I notice you struggle in the last part. Hold your breath and you won't take damage from the purple mist while it blows you across :).

I am so glad you enjoyed it! I'll admit I have gotten quite attached to the main character and I may have plans to expand on the game in the future (if not this particular game, I might create a 'sequel'). Indeed, some polish is needed of course. Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you so much for playing! Aw, I'm sure you CAN beat it! The thing that most people have trouble with is the 'marked' debuff, and if you manage that correctly, you'll beat her! An indicator for the boss' health was originally planned for, but I ran out of time :'). Again, thank you so much!

I really enjoyed playing this game and its addictive nature! Super polished, the controls are simple and easy to understand. Like one of the other comments mentioned, I too like the whistle upgrade, and that encouraged more 'breathing' which is what the theme is all about. Very nicely done, thank you for making this game!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for the in-depth analysis! Indeed, I thought long and hard about the theme, and what you said about drawing a parallel with people holding their breath as they pass those they once knew rings true to me due to circumstances surrounding my personal life recently.

Very honored to have received your review, and I am extremely happy you enjoyed it! Thank you again for playing!

Thanks for playing the game!

Thank you so much for playing!

I'll be honest, I've never played a cozy game before, and this left such a good impression I think I opened a gate! I spent a good half an hour to make sure to get the toxic levels down to 0 and it was SO satisfying to see everything turn from a muddy haze into fresh greenery. And those bubbles, so lovely, I felt like popping them through my screen!

A suggestion: Perhaps you could make it so that players can 'drag and drop' plants onto the screen? This would save them having to click to drop a plant, and then clicking again to drag the plant around.

Overall, very well done, thanks for making this game!

I enjoyed playing this little game! The music is very soothing, the controls simple and the characters funny and adorable. I like how one of them goes "It's so dark" when trapped and changes to saying "It's too bright" when released, that was hilarious! Only 'problem' I had was that the crates with the fish blended in too much with the environment and were a little bit hard to spot. Other than that, very well done!

Love this so much because who can't relate! The characters are funny, the music is great and wonderfully fitting, and the breath management system provides a fun challenge. I left some employees 'alive' between waves just to catch my breath. Very well done!

Thank you very much for playing! So happy you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! Made the web build as a last minute decision and completely missed the Esc problem :(. I'll definitely change it for a future build when I can! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! Do look forward to more updates as I continue working on it! Thanks for trying :).

No one around to pet me :(. Cute game!

Lovely! I especially like the music! Great job!

Hello, everyone!

Kampong Battle is an action-RPG following four buddies venturing out to take on baddies. Join Hakim, Nate, Yin and Yang as they battle unique enemies such as a the stinky Rafflesia queen, Sia-Laffre, and the upperclass crocodile, Madame Buaya. Collect equipment along the way to help them on their journey, or face off against the more challenging Event Boss Dong-Dong-Qiang for a shot at legendary armor!

The game is currently only available for Android users.

Check out my page for this game here and if you do try it out, let me know how you feel about the game :). It's pretty much my biggest project so far (took me about 1.5years working on it on and off) and completely free (you can choose to watch an ad for some tokens used to face off against event bosses).
