That was an issue only in the downloadable version of the game. It should be fixed now.

Cross out everything except "You're hired"!

Hmmm, strange. We will be posting a desktop build soon, hopefully that will help.

there’s a walkthrough in the description on how to get the different endings!

Nice!!! I def agree that the life drain is brutal on the later slower section but skill issue i guess! Downloading it definitely helped, I got 12 then downloaded it and got 19 on my next try

We are planning to!

Such an awesome idea, and you also made a great game to go along with it!

Nice game! I liked the idea and setting.

LMAO thank you for your praise and also the funny and creative comment hahaha

Glad you enjoyed the game! There's a walkthrough in the itch page description if you're interested!

Thanks for trying out the game! There's a walkthrough in the itch page description, if you'd like to see how to get past that ending 👀

Glad you enjoyed it! Good idea, if we expand the game maybe we will implement that. There is also a walkthrough in the description if you want to see how to solve that ending!

Yeah, I meant just the ones suggested by the dots & picture. The space for expression is good design for sure :P

This was great! I had the most fun making "alternate" solutions - if you ever expand this game I think you should add a "score" where you detect how many unused dots there are at the end of a line so that people can go for high scores :) Loved the art style and had lots of genuine fun playing!

Some of my fav alternate solutions:

Great puzzle game, very replayable!

Edit: lesgoooo

Glad you enjoyed it! You can find the walkthrough here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-MIf6Sa7991N99oiaiapm25D6nP2ZAFtVYb0JiUWQ_0/edit?usp=sharing

Veeeerrryy smooth motion graphics!

Unfortunately I can't play the game with that download, it's the Godot project instead of a build of the game.

Nice! I like the idea that you have to push yourself to your limit without breaking by playing both sides.

Really good concept and art, unfortunately seems like maybe the scope was a bit big for the 48 hours. Clicked because of cat and did not regret it, the puns are great

Thanks! There's also a walkthrough in the description on how to get the three different endings.

Good premise for sure! With some more time I'm sure it would have been very cool, as is there are some mechanics missing. The music was actually a JAM though and I'm a fan of the Donkey Kong Country music vibes frfr

Unfortunately the build seems to be the whole project folder instead of a build? Unfortunate bc the art looks cool

I actually really liked your interpretation of the theme! Rolling in one direction and having your direction be a key part of strategy was really interesting - I think I would have liked it if you rolled until you hit a wall, because I had difficulty getting to far away enemies. I'm a fan of the menu Mr. Avacado :)

Nice game! My favorite part was definitely the chat & names that were really creative lmao. I did miss sound a bit, and the game lagged a bit with more guys on my screen. But that didn't stop me from enjoying myself playing it, the 2 attack was especially satisfying 1-shotting a bunch of people with that screenshake!

Glad you enjoyed the game! We have roughly 30 accepted answers and 4-6 different interpretations/pictures for each sentence, but unfortunately we couldn't catch all of them by hand! If we do expand the game we'd definitely put more time into expanding that list. Thanks for your kind words!

Lmaoooo what a great idea

Awesome idea and stylish presentation!

Yeah! Here's the recording: https://www.loc.gov/item/jukebox-133941/

I also uploaded the game version here: https://soundcloud.com/willowpet/maquina-habanera

Thank you!! It's a very old public domain recording of "Habanera" with additional instrumentation and typewriter percussion as you noticed. There are also 4 versions of it so that it gets more and more layered as you progress!

I ship them.

Thanks!! We also just put a walkthrough in the description on how to see all the endings.

We've also just put a walkthrough in the description if you just want to see the endings/get to the credits!

Nice! I liked the concept, it took me 3 tries and I noticed that it got me to start thinking and strategizing which means it's a good and engaging idea. I like the art style + the concept, I think some music would have been nice for the vibes. Nice job!

The ending isn't bugged! Some combinations of words will unlock the credits 👀

The ending isn't bugged, try erasing some of the words ;)

D: alright, thanks for the info!

Thanks!! A tutorial would definitely be good, and if development continued that would be a priority! The keyboard controls were intended for debugging but kept in so that controllers weren't strictly necessary, which is why they are only in the description. Did you have issues connecting controllers?

Thank you!!

Thank you!!
