Thanks for the kind sentiments!

I love the setting, it's very compelling and fun! Seeing colours left behind is satisfying, it's a very cool visual experience that adds an additional layer of interest to the survivor genre.

This game really captures the feeling of "spreading" very well! I like being able to freeze nodes, there is the potential for a very cool visual experience. The game page says it is casual and relaxing... but I personally felt more worried and anxious haha

Thanks for playing! The background visuals is one of the biggest areas to polish, for sure.

Haha I commend you, brave soul who  jumped straight over the branch in level one. That should be a hidden achievement...

I focused a lot on creating decent progression so your comment is very reassuring! I should definitely make it impossible, not just unlikely, to miss the upgrade though. Thanks for your patience and finding the keybind on the page instead.

Thanks for playing! J and K was definitely a bit of a compromise to reasonably fit both WASD and arrow key control schemes. Ideally I would implement the ability to remap keybinds in the future.

Thank you for the kind comments!

I'm realizing now I developed a habit of jumping all the time while testing, which makes things much easier. Getting by with mostly walking is still possible, but definitely harder.

Very magical and immersive!

I was surprised when the ghosts suddenly started shooting bullet hell at me the first time haha, usually I expect beginning monsters to be free kills. It was very rewarding to dodge and slay them though

Super cute! I love the vocal sound effects haha

I love the theme, it's super cozy and polished! Just moving back and forth spreading and un-spreading feels very satisfying.

I got stuck on the first bagel level though :( I just cannot visualize how to make the blade do what I want it to do properly. I think it's because the control scheme is relative to the blade position, combined with muscle memory from other WASD games. I keep pressing A/D to try to move literal left/right instead of rotating, or W/S to move literal up/down instead of relative forwards/backwards. Anyways skill issue

Thanks for playing! I am a fan of having little to no tutorials, so we'll see haha.

Edit: After playing some other games, I realized that my lack of a main menu gives zero time for the player to "strap in." That and maybe a level zero where the player just walks from point A to point B might help introduce the game better.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hello fellow tree enjoyer, thanks for checking out the game!

Great game! The theming (this itch.io page included) of all the assets is absolutely fantastic.

Very fun! I also made a plant + sun-themed game so I had to try this haha.

I made it to level 15 at which point the precision required was too frustrating (or I missed something entirely).  It is very difficult to start and end diagonal movements precisely, often wasting water. I would love dedicated, single buttons for diagonal movement. But maybe just skill issue, because that was a big part of the difficulty curve.
