Hey there! First of all, sorry about the issues you seem to be having! It sucks when a jam game doesn’t go according to plan, and I’m sure you put a lot of care and effort into making this game!

That being said, I didn’t actually run into any issues when running the game, so I was able to play it properly. I enjoyed playing this game! The gameplay loop is simple, but very fun and relaxing. I didn’t think I would have so much fun just running around collecting stuff, but after I built my first building I was quickly invested into collecting enough resources to finish the rest of the buildings. As has been mentioned elsewhere, it can be pretty difficult to make a survival game that’s actually fun to play, but I think you’ve made a pretty decent survival game here!

The island itself is really cool, and a lot of fun to explore. Personally I think it would have been cool if the buildings you build did something, but in all fairness that may have been out of scope for a jam game.

All in all this was a fun little game that I enjoyed playing! Thanks for sharing this!

That’s really awesome, thanks for sharing!

This was pretty fun to play, and I love the aesthetic. The idea a colony on a gas giant is really cool to me, and I think the gameplay fit that setting really well!

I loved the art! The models were really good, and I love the way they almost feel like toy models. The card art was also really good!

As others have mentioned, there isn’t really a clear goal when playing the game, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. If anything, that just means you have more options to expand the game mechanics and flesh the game out more to be even more fun if you want to develop it further! It certainly feels like there’s lots of “space” to add more mechanics/gameplay loops. I personally would love to see what comes of this if you do decide to develop it further, because the existing mechanics are pretty solid!

That being said, the gameplay that does exist is fun already. I found myself limited by money quite often, but in hindsight I suppose it’s better that one isn’t able to just spam buildings lol. The one that gave random stats (either black market or night club) was really fun to try to factor into my plans. And being able to see your colony physically grow in front of you as you place more and more buildings is really cool. I do agree with others that it would be really cool if it mattered where you placed tiles, as it would add a bit more strategy and require you to plan ahead a bit more.

All in all, a really cool submission that I really enjoyed playing!

(1 edit)

This was super fun to play, and the great art made it even better! The game moves so fast you barely have time to think, and it’s only after your time is up that you can look at the mess of a house you’ve created and wonder what exactly you just did lol.

I love the art! It’s super cute and fits the playful vibe of the game perfectly! I also really enjoyed the little jokes in the form section, like needing to fill in your blood type and proof of existence. All in all, really fun and a pleasure to play.

I really enjoyed this game! I may be a bit biased since I love games with fairly complex systems like this, but I had a lot of fun playing this game. It was really satisfying having to plan ahead and decide in advance what I was gonna use certain tiles for, as well as trying to predict where the AI would try to place tiles and blocking them off.

At times I did find it to be a bit unforgiving, as sometimes it felt as though all of my turns were spent undoing what the AI was messing up without being able to make any progress on my own goals. To be honest though I think that might just be a skill issue on my part lol.

The music and art were really good too! I especially love the art style used for this project, the drawings are pretty good! All in all, a great game and a lot of fun to play :D

This was really cool! I love these kinds of short story-driven games, I’ve never seen it called a game poem before but it really does fit lol.

The story was simple but really well told, and I loved the art! Something about the (mostly) 1-bit art style really just made this for me. Thank you for sharing this, I loved playing through it!

It crashed the first time I played it too, but I just ran the exe again and it worked fine. I was also running it in fullscreen, so maybe try that.

very bean, this game changed my life

Great idea, and I love that the pipe shoots out a little mario lol. Has the same energy as flappy bird heh

Adorable game, I love this so much

Not much to do in terms of gameplay but I love the art and music, ngl I played this for like a solid 10 minutes just vibing to the music and enjoying the art lol

Such a cute idea, I love this so much lol
