Dang, I really loved the art and music! Amazing work for a weeklong jam!

Cute art style and good use of the theme :)

Cute art style and good use of the theme :)

Thanks for the feedback! And whoops, thanks for the font color catch!

Thanks much!

Thank you :)

I like the concept! Would be fun to see levels where you have to mix the shrink/grow powers to solve the puzzles. I like that the tiny size can run on water :)

I like the concept and the main slime character! Overall great job - some ideas for improvement would be not having to restart back at the beginning every time, and reworking of the gravity/jumping system. Feels very difficult to control because of how floaty it is.

The HTML export doesn't work for me, after starting the game it just shows an all white screen with Previous and Next at the top :( On Windows 11 with a chromium browser.

I love the mechanics! I could definitely see this expanding to become a bigger game. The visuals were super nice, too. Nice touches with the tutorials in the wall graphics, and the backgrounds in general :)

The only issue is I wasn't able to finish it - the longer I played the slower the game ran until it was too laggy to continue :(

Thanks for the comment! Really appreciated

Thanks for the comment! I really enjoyed your game, the atmosphere was great!

I like the simple art and sound design! Very easy to understand with a lonely atmosphere that captures the desire to stick close to your camp fire at night :)

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed :)

Thanks for your kind words! It's a style I really want to work on, and all the feedback I've been getting on this game jam version has been really helpful 😁

Thanks for your feedback! I'll be honest, it made me laugh a little 😅

Did you play the browser version or the windows version? Neither me nor my playtesters had spacebar issues but I'd love to figure it out and fix it and I really appreciate the feedback.

Oh and I hope your monitor is still okay!

Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it! Unfortunately I didn't have the coding skills to figure out respawning next to the holes, but with some work I think I could figure it out. Again, thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind words! So glad you enjoyed it 🐱

Here's my entry, and my first completely game/game jam entry! I'd be very interested in what y'all think, so I can improve for next time. Thanks for checking it out!

Here's my entry - it's a platformer in the style of a children's story, with hand-drawn art by me :) Rate A Frog's Tale by yeahokaysure for Mini Jam 106: Frogs² - itch.io Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for your feedback! I definitely could have spent more time on the collision detection and getting the feel right was a struggle, so I really appreciate the input.

I really liked the mechanic! Kind of felt like golf :)

I got stuck on I think the 4th or 5th level, there seemed to be some invisible walls I couldn't figure out (not sure if they were supposed to be there?)

I really enjoyed the art style! The graphics and sound effects were excellent, and the animations were top notch. The frog "landing" is especially satisfying.

This is just a personal choice, but I'd love to see a version where you control the jump angle, but the timer is reduced (say, to half the amount of time). Could make for a bit more fast-paced game :)

Overall, very excellent!

I tried uploading an html version after submitting my original upload, and screwed everything up! The original file is back up now :)

I screwed up the original upload trying to convert it into an HTML game - I reverted it back to an executable. I'll figure out the HTML version after the game jam review process is over :)

Hi there, thanks for allowing late submissions! This is my first game jam here and I had a heck of a time figuring out the upload process for some reason.
