Hi! Yeah, the purify system is finicky (really wish I had more time to polish it). Yeah, you were supposed to purify all enemies to get the end state (I think I had a text at the beginning that indicated this, but I will make it more clear in the future). Thanks for playing!

Thanks! The ending state is purifying all the creatures in the forest. I did add a floating text at the beginning that says this, but definitely will make it clearer if we do any future iterations. Thanks for playing!

Enjoyed the game! I loved how the platforming sequences blended in with the story of trying to say hello to new people and the friend you hadn't seen in a while! I felt myself yearning for more of the story in the story sequences and the platforming in the story sequences, which is awesome. The writing was good and I felt connected to the main character.

My only feedback is that the double jump is very awkward (I have to hit Z at the right time otherwise I fall through the orb). This has killed me a ton trying to time my Z key with the orb.  In addition, some facial expressions on the characters would have conveyed the dialogue a lot better.

Nice job!

This is probably the coolest concept I've seen so far! I love how seamlessly it fits with the optional theme and the combination of a platformer and dating sim! The art fits well with the game and I find it really cool that when you get attacked by enemies, it corresponds to saying something awkward and unfitting to your date.

My feedback would be that the controls feel somewhat awkward, especially the left shift. It was difficult for me to get on the ledge using left shift and I kept missing a ton of times. Also the number of enemies became too much in the later levels so I ended up losing a lot. But I really enjoyed the dialogue of this game and the strategy involved!

Really cute game! Love how the art style is in a child-like manner, really emphasizes the innocent nature of the game! I love how the mechanics flow well with wind currents making the letter fly and the various obstacles that get in your way like the birds and the water! Controlling other characters was also very unique and I didn't expect that I would be able to do that! Also loved the ending :)

My only feedback is to make the respawn points more forgiving. I kept getting eaten by birds and had to restart from a far away checkpoint, which did get somewhat frustrating. Overall, great job!

I really enjoyed this game! It does indeed give me that spectacle fighter vibe, a genre that I really enjoy. So nice job on capturing the essence with the cool combos, blocking, and healing mechanics! The game itself reminds me a lot of Devil May Cry, which is a good thing. I enjoyed how responsive and natural the AI felt, even though at times, it felt more overpowered than I would have liked. The character art and the look of the environments is really nice to look at.

The game itself could use more tweaks in terms of balance. I struggled a lot against the boss, and I kept dying again and again. Maybe you could have the first boss be somewhat easy and the second be a more difficult version of the first boss? In addition, the bars were somewhat unclear to me, I agree with another commenter that the bars could have been made more obvious (like health vs the recovery system bar being on the same side.)

Overall, I enjoyed the visuals and feel of the gameplay! Good job!

General feedback about the executable: I would save your package (Windows No Editor) underneath a folder that has the name of your game! I downloaded another Unreal game that had the same issue.

Really enjoyed the level and character art! They look super good and mesh very well with the world! I also enjoyed reading about how Marvina enters this world and the fact that she uses a racket to defend herself. I did notice that the capsule colliders on enemies show up in game. Was this part of debugging? Also, there were a ton of enemies spawning in one location so the game was pretty difficult on my end (ended up getting ganged up by three of them and dying). So I would make the game somewhat easier. Picking up items also does not destroy them in the scene so I got confused on whether I picked up the powerups or not.

Also left mouse click does not attack, right mouse click does. Just wanted to mention that lol. Overall, the style, narrative, and the environment look really good! You did a great job on that end! Gameplay is mostly solid, just a few fixes and your game would be even more awesome!

Really enjoyed this game! The writing is great, it sends a good message, and I was thoroughly entertained by all the bear puns! The art work is super good, loved the backgrounds and the design of Salmon and Bumble. The humor didn't seem out of place with the rest of the game, and you managed to balance both the serious and funny moments! Overall, would love an expansion on the game!

My only feedback would have been to have the messages between Salmon and Bumble be displayed on the messaging app itself. It was somewhat of a disconnect having to look at blank messages on the computer screen and realizing that the chat dialogue was on the same panel as the dialogue in the other parts of the story. Additionally, the bear noises were pretty loud on my end and I almost got jumpscared at the splash screen :D. It could be toned down to be less jarring with the music (though I get why it was there).

Other than that, excellent job Team Bear!

Hi! Would love some feedback
