Finally beat the game, damn it was such a tough fight of strategy (and RNG lol) I think the aesthetic of the game is amazing, but sometimes the game mechanism can feel overwhelming and unforgiving sometimes (overly rely on rng when using cards, I hope there will be a card that let your choose the card you want for an energy in both exploration and combat). Campsite card could be at 1 cost of energy instead to improve the flexibility when exploration. Also I feel there should be more levels before major boss fights and therefore more rewards after each combat (at least 1 chest or toad shrine/campfire that is already there) Lastly the shop could feel redundant at times due to inconsistency (sometimes it cost food to buy and sometimes it's key, sometimes it just gave you stonepick even though I have foods and keys) and lack of good choice (the weapon could be pre-buff, since you wouldn't really need weapon with barely any damage in late game).
Also a question: The boss that was suppose to evolve after death (phase 2,3,4) just dies when I hit them with high damage units, is that supposed to happened like some kind game mechanic or something?
So now we are done with chapter 2, there's 3 more to go. I can only imagine following chapters are just only going to be better. Before you going too deep the making, would you like to talk about the game development? May I get your Discord or something perhaps?
So I have played it. I gotta say the manual blowjob really did it's job, it's actually quite immersive to say the least. I love the detail that there's different way in pleasing different customer, amazing idea. I love the exposure/humiliation kink when Mezz's photos is leaked, I hope there's a bad ending when time end tho, but all things considered this game is awesome. Great job
Amazing content, I've played it and I believe I gone thru everything finishing the new area. Would the "job" at the strip club and the restaurant be explorable in the future or this is the end of it? I played the new content pack, as always I loved it. I can see more content is coming (?) and that's really impressive for how much work you can do as only one person. Work and effort like this is why I always hope you get more love and support that you totally deserved, I can only imagine what the future chapters will bring us and I hope you always love what you are doing because we love you. <3
Interesting, well could mean the fate of Mezz is about to about twist as well if you wanna go that way, at least not like anytime soon. I love how a character can grow as chapter move on, Mezz became stronger since he can replenish used energy after each fight and have more powerful abilities, but let his luck remain the same would just be perfect, no amount of skill can save you from ass pounding here. I am only more invested in the game and story and will continue to support it.
I am kinda curious how you came up with the name "Cruel Serenade", Is it the story behind and background is overall "Cruel", is it because it due to the Sin City like world setting and illegal activities raging, or is it about the fate of the protagonist is always tragic.
