thank you Alyshkalia, I’m glad you liked it! ✨

Hi fos1, I tried to enter now in the discord channel linked in the jam page and I get the same error “no text channels”. Can it be the link?

I think the problem is in the link because I found the link in the ParserComp 2023 and it works!✨

Zeno🌞.

Thank you XEevee! ✨ I’m really happy you liked it and I’m glad you enjoyed exploring the city!

Nice Fantasy adventure. 🌙

You also did a good job with the artworks; they are coherent and they don’t look like AI-generated images but genuine pixel artworks.

I Loved it. The plot and the storytelling style are fresh and unexpected!✨

The adventure is very well-written and it’s interesting to discover more about your neighbors.✨

Do not judge a book by its cover, the story is not exactly what I was expecting by the cover art!🎃

I needed to check the Walkthrough. I tried to ask Zeus but, since I hadn’t asked in the right place, he never gave me the hint I needed.✨

Hi! The games works only on windows?

Is there any way to play on browser or on an app on mobile phone?

Super cute and funny adventure for beginners!

I loved the illustrations and plot twists! ⚡️

(P.s. I needed some help to find the banana)

Accurate descriptions and well-documented setting. I appreciate meeting not-so-known folklore creatures!👹

Nice adventure, I really liked the unusual point of view of the story!✨

Hi Garry,

Yes, you are right, I set full screen and it looks better!

Thanks!

Hi miencha,

What a cool idea!
If you make it can we see a digital/pdf version of the finished work?

Feel free to use any screen from my games too. ✨

Thank you, Adam! I’m happy to hear you had fun!

Thank you very much Danwinters, I’m glad you liked it! 🌿

Thanks, Rynelf! ☀️

No, typos are not intentional, I’m gonna check texts.

thank you raven, I’m happy you liked it! 🐄

Nice puzzle!

I needed the help of Google for the poet floor, but all the puzzles are clever and with the right amount of hints! 🧩

Hi Corvidae,

Have you tried bitsy color? It’s bitsy but you can add more colours in each palette.

Hope is what you were looking for! 🌈

This is interesting!🍿

Your zodiac sign.✨

Amazing!

Amazing!

Loved the details. I played again to find hidden messages in red herrings. It’s very engaging.✨ Cooking can be really a form of self—healing.

Hi Burke3gd.

Under each room there is an “avatar” tab that sets your avatar appearance in the room.

Each room can have a different sprite as standard avatar.

Hope that is what you were looking for! :)

Hi Zutsuri!

Online you can find a bitsy hack to add a choice directly in the dialog.

I’m a basic user of bitsy so, uslually I try to find solution with standards command. In that case I would use a sequence list for the dialog.

First time the dialog will say: “next time you’ll talk to me the game will end!” And in the second time you talk to it I made it happen.

Hope it’s helpful! :)

Nice adventure.

Really appreciated the “hint” function because sometimes I knew what to do but I didn’t know how to do it!

Really loved this short game.

Ufortunately I needed a PC to play it, on my mobile (even on chrome) when I interact the second time with the copy machine, the game restart from the title.

🤣 You are right! Definitely should.

Thanks, ✨ I’m glad you liked it!

hi Valeriy, thank you very much, I’m glad you liked my game so much ✨.

Thanks for the feedbacks. It was the first time I tried exit transition effect, and I may have used them even where they don’t fit properly.

I haven’t considered at all that a game over for choosing both cookies was harsh or unexpected. Of course is not that much serious to me, if you don’t choose I will have my favorite one for me and leave the other one to you! 🍪

I really think I’m gonna fix it.

Cool and original!

Just the right amount of challenge.

Loved it.

Thanks! I tried to represent the different mood of each room of the museum ✨

I’m happy you liked it! 🗡️

Hi Vaasu, I don't think it's possible with the “tune” music in Bitsy, but I played a game with music added with the “bitsymuse hack by Sean S. Leblanc” and music does not stop during dialogs. I never tried any hack, but hope that can help you!

Hi Rascal, I’m really curious about your game! Unfortunately, I tried to play it from my mobile phone, and every time I should insert my name the game block itself.  Is there any trick to play it on mobile or should I use only a PC?

Thank you, I'm happy you liked it!

Hi Redsquirrel111, I have no idea how to make an event time-related in bitsy, sorry🙁.

But, do you really need it to be time-related?

I like your concept, and I think you can give the same feeling of hurry and stress by making battery loss interaction related. You can hide in every interaction a change in a variable or in an item that will represent the time passing and use the branching list to change interaction based on the battery left. You can also hide “invisible” objects in empty spaces of the monitor to make lose extra time to people who explore the useless area of the phone.

I know is a bit different game from the one you were planning but, this way, you can develop your concept with the standard bitsy features.

Hope you find the best solution and can’t wait to play the game!

Hi Valeriy, this game is really cool! It doesn’t feel like a prototype to me, as a Bitsy game it feels like a complete game :)

If you want to make something bigger I’d fancy things like unlocking new classes (one with a keys bonus, one with a guts bonus) and, after reaching the end, unlocking new dungeons with different environments and stories to explore. My favorites rogue-like games are: “1-bit Rogue” and “Cardinal Quest 2” if you like a reference for my favorite unlocking systems.

Wish you all the best of luck!

P.s. The “random feature” is a standard Bitsy feature or is it a hack?

Cute game. It seems like a riddle to me. Isn’t it?
