Asking for confirmation before ending

I'm making my first Bitsy game as a gift to my partner for his birthday and I've run into a small snag. When clicking on the "end game" sprite, I want there to be a dialog option that asks if you're sure. That way if my partner clicks that before anything else, the game won't just end. Any way to do this? I'm very new to making games and am struggling a bit.

Hi Zutsuri!

Online you can find a bitsy hack to add a choice directly in the dialog.

I’m a basic user of bitsy so, uslually I try to find solution with standards command. In that case I would use a sequence list for the dialog.

First time the dialog will say: “next time you’ll talk to me the game will end!” And in the second time you talk to it I made it happen.

Hope it’s helpful! :)

Oh, that's an interesting solution! If no one else has any feedback for me, I'll do that. Thank you!

Instead of an end game sprite, you could create an exit sprite that transports the player to a room with the dialogue "Really quit?" and a sprite on either side: An end game sprite shaped like a Y and an exit sprite shaped like an N, which takes you back to the previous room.
Hope you find a solution that works for you!

Thank you, this is a really creative solution, too! I appreciate all y'all's help.
