How long ago did you contact support? It might take some time these days. In the mean time, you can use Butler to get a 2GB limit, but really, you should optimize your game. How is it so big?

i have big environment.  and i tried butler but it did not work error exceed

In my experience using UE4 is going to take 70 MB base uncompressed. This is gonna compress down to about 35 MB which leaves 965 MB, which is a lot. Or 1965 MB with Butler.

How come you can't fit your project in that?

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe the size limit applies to the project uncompressed. Something worth keeping in mind.

i have a lot of assets in my game i already delete some but still much

I think I’ve seen some developers host their games on 3rd party sites and linked them through the download buttons on their itch.io store page. Maybe that could be a temporary workaround while you’re looking into this, SunSuriyaZ.

However I couldn’t tell you if those 3rd party sites would necessarily host files of that size just for ad revenue…

I think this best option would be to just cut down on the game size until the poster can get some more space, and then upload a bigger build.

I would say that, ultimately, optimization would seem like the best route. But on the other hand, SunSuriyaZ seems to be struggling with this for over 2 days now. And (from what I understand) despite already making efforts to slim their game down they aren’t making much progress in that regard. So I try to work with what I’m given.

On the other hand when they upload a “downsized version/demo” of a game that has already progressed significantly(?) beyond that point, it might strike some players who take the time to try the game as an empty promise when they hear something along the lines of “Guys, guys… I’m just waiting for itch to upgrade my storage and then the game will be so much better…”

i have error when uploading from butler plssss help

ok thank you for the info is that ok if i upload to google drive ?

Like I already hinted at: I’ve never done this myself. If it works, it works.

That being said, a lot of people don’t trust Google and some itch.io users might even block Google’s services outright.

hmmmm ok thx for the info appriciate it btw Happy Thanksgiving :)

they said about API its done publish but idid not see anything
