When out of town, you can meet various random encounters. Particularly, encounters such as saving someone from a bunch of bandits will allow you some options with regards to the bandit's captive.
On that notion, are there any modifiers for the persuasion option? I've been playing for a bit and have tried persuading some of them to join me afterwards. Often enough they refuse, not sure if its just bad luck or something else.
Is the chances for persuasion set like 50/50 or something, or does it have any modifiers? Curious about the rates as some of them are really good characters but is a gamble to get unless you forcibly enslave them which I don't want.
