i'm really interested in this game but since it's still in development I wanted to know if every time there is an update I have to re-download the whole game again or keep it and download just the update? I guess you all know what I mean, mostly to not loose the progress in game

You'll have to redownload basically the whole game, since there aren't incremental patches, but you can keep your save files. You only have to overwrite the game files (TalesOfAndrogyny.jar). The saves are stored in the .toa-data folder.
