this website is fantastic... especially when i take into account how i can't copy/paste ANY download link to a download manager for pausing/resuming of said downloads and how my internet connection isn't great and anything over 70MB will time out or fail before the download finishes and unlike when using a download manager, that means restarting the download from the start and hoping it just MIGHT finish this time.

this isn't a complaint to the dev (well...partly i guess) but rather a complaint about how this site is entirely NOT download friendly.

*sigh* i go, set the price to $0 (cause i don't have any money to spare. sorry, dev. :/ ) and when i get to the download page all the links are javascript links! >.< you cannot copy/paste a javascript link into a download manager and start said download.

would it be possible to download the public version of this game from somewhere other than itch.io? somewhere that doesn't use javascript links for downloads? cause...i got lucky last time i downloaded from here but seeing as the game is around 20MB bigger than the last version i downloaded, i rather doubt it'll work here.

:( sorry but even nowadays, not everyone has great internet. for anything over 80MB in size, i use a download manager called JDownloader so i can pause/resume the download as needed (and no, that function doesn't always work when downloading via firefox as sometimes that results in paused downloads resetting back to the beginning unlike with an actual download manager.) without worrying about them timing out. in fact, JDownloader can actually auto-resume downloads when they timeout too so they DON'T restart.

Have you tried downloading itch.io app and using that for updates? This way you won't have to redownload entire updates too, it will automatically only download what is new.

Your browser should let you copy the download link in the downloads manager, though I'm not sure if the link can only be used once because some sites do that

If that doesn't work, you can use Free Download Manager and make it only catch downloads when Alt is pressed

:/ forgot about this.

@noyiu: tried that and it still didn't work. all that gave me was some long ass google link which jdownloader still can't use. probably because it ends in some lengthy signature thing and not a file type like .zip or something.

google access,id...uploader...gservice account... signature... o_O is this game hosted here or on google? er...google drive? that lengthy signature makes me think it's encrypted like how MEGA encrypts everything.

i'd paste the link here but i get the feeling that might not be the best of ideas. :/
