Excited to see what it's gonna do. It's quite big. I am not sure if I want to see how big an actual dactyl would be. Scary. Will it be like a mini boss?
Either way, i agree it is scary knowing that the adults might be capable of just picking you off the ground without warning and drops you to a nest filled with these things.
Maybe the dactyl will become a quest where you have to reunite it with its parents. It would be a one time thing and maybe they would give you a key or something. Or they would attack you and you would have to defeat them so they will understand. (because that makes sense).
The dactyl hatchling seems to be a random spawning enemy so I don't think it's friendly. It's currently unfinished which is why it can't damage you and you can't drink it's juice. Plus it seems to have trouble standing up right now.
