Is it normal that 5 stars is 850? I've been trying for 2 hours and even with all streaks I only get 830.
Each mission has its own cutoff points for each star level. Consider scenario-specific bonuses, sometimes those can help. A lot of the 5 star challenges are really brutal (also I suck so I'm not far into the star collecting yet).
The 5-star limit on that scenario is probably a little too harsh for normal mode, that's true. I might tweak it a bit in the next update.
