Welcome to Candyland pack for California Strip Poker!

Version 1.7

Compatible with CSP version 1.7.1




This mod pack adds a couple of things:

1) Adds 3 more copies of Candy, so you can play against multiple Candy opponents.

2) Adds alternate Beachwear2 and Black Skirt2 sets for Candy that will make her appear in the Void location for group images.

3) Adds an alternate Chreerleaders2 set for Candy and Vivian that makes them appear at the right side of the Void location for group images.

4) For the alternate Black Skirt2 set for Candy reconstructed missing parts of the image that were previously hidden by the table.

5) For the alternate Beachwear2 set for Candy reconstructed missing parts of the beach bed that Candy is used during her finale.

6) Added more finales for Candy from the Extra Finales pack!

Note that the Chreerleaders2 set only appears for the original Candy and Vivian. While Beachwear2 and Black Skirt2 sets only appear for copies on Candy.

Special thanks to Eldricus for making this great game and for providing source images needed to reconstruct parts of images for Black Skirt and Beachwear sets for Candy.

Details on new finales from the Extra Finales pack

1) Candy, beachwear set: Mesh only*, One piece*

2) Candy, black skirt set: Bottomless*, Open legs**

3) Candy, white lingerie set: Stockings*, Butt shots*

4) Candy, Candy cane set: Stockings*/**

5) Candy and Vivian, cheerleaders set: Mix & match*, Photo shoot

*  includes new images created from combining existing images

** includes cropped or zoomed-in versions of existing images

Note that extra finales do not apply to the original Candy and original Cheerleaders set. To add them to those, install the Extra Finales pack separately.

Known issues

This is a mod pack with no new original art. Because of this, some things will not look ideal. Multiple Candies at the Void location will have different lighting and shadow positions and some furniture art will look incomplete. Also, having Rosie or Leah in Void may lead to overlap with some of Candy's images.

Each instance of Candy is counted as a different player, so any victories needed to unlock finales need to be unlocked with each Candy separately.

Install instructions

To install, make sure that the "candyland_patch" folder is in the game base folder. Then run the "install.bat" file. This will not modify original game files but create a new "opponents_zcandyland" folder.

To uninstall, remove the "opponents_zcandyland" folder, which was created after installation.

This mod pack is compatible with the Extra Finales pack, and both can be installed in any order.

Aha! Finally someone who has a favorite other than Denise!

I expected that composite images from other locations would have the wrong lighting and shadows and would just look plain weird, but it's surprisingly good.  

There's no white lingerie Candy in the set, is that because that one was too different to look believable?

I found a way to create composites in the lounge that don't include the couch at all, so that might make future mods of this sort better. Or worse, I don't know? See Denise's couch finale for reference.

In the meantime, I'm temporarily uploading the original composites of candy in the lounge with her legs and the couch intact. I think you might like to put those to good use.

Correct.

Bedroom composite images look more zoomed in.

Plus it always overlapped with beach Candy.

Thanks for these:
While utilizing a full couch may be too much (won't be able to add beach Candy at the same scene), anything that will help in fixing cutout due to missing table will help.

If you're feeling super industrious you might be able to use photoshop to eliminate the right pillow section of the couch, but keep the right end, and turn it into a loveseat.

There is another issue I was never able to resolve, regarding Candy's finale:




Both couch and beach bed are at a similar distance, so no clear way to select which one is at the front.
I selected the couch for now, since Candy on the beach bed does seem to be farther away, but have not handled the missing part from the beach table.

I censored the image since I do not know what is Itch.io policy is regarding those.

Thanks for censoring those, I'd prefer to restrict actual nudity to within the game itself, regardless of what itchio's policies may be.  

Your solution here is probably going to require a bit of photoshopping to move her around a bit.  You might even be able to shrink her some to give the illusion of being further back (as long as you don't change the image dimensions).    You can also adjust the layer and position label for the finale if it takes place in a different area than the player normally occupies. (see Denise's bed finale properties file for an example)

I'll add the uncut version of that finale to the zip in a bit so you can have one without a table-shaped hole on the side of it.

I did use this setting to move the finale to the last layer, so it is always behind the couch and Leah/Rosie if they are on the screen.

She is waaay too big compared to the rest of the girls in the Void.

Lol, it's attack of the 50 foot Candy.  Nothing a bit of shrinking and increasing the exposure wouldn't fix, tho

Version 1.1 released. Original post updated.

In this version, for the alternate Black Skirt2 set for Candy, I've reconstructed missing parts of the image that were previously hidden by the table.

there's a new zip up that has the composite for that beach finale as well.

OK, I've uploaded version 1.2, with the fix to Beachwear finale for Candy when in Void.

No big changes there, for now, just using the complete model of the beach bed provided by Eldricus.

Updated to version 1.3.

Now it is fully compatible with the 1.3 version of the game.

I've removed some of the customizations for the image sets since the base game was improved so more images are available after you beat the opponents.

Also, removed all old extra finales, and instead added all Candy finales from my Extra Finales pack.

Candyland pack is fully compatible with Extra Finales pack, so if you want to add more finales for the other girls, you can install both.

Updated to version 1.4.

Compatible with the 1.4 version of the game.

I've replaced all Candy finales with those from the new version of the Extra Finales pack, but exempt that, not much is changed.

I missed adding Candy finales for the beach zone.

Also, I've optimized installation, so that the Candyland pack takes less size.

Updated to version 1.5. Now compatible with 1.5 version of CSP.

The biggest change is how the Candyland pack is installed. Just like before you still need to put files in the base folder of the game and run install.bat.

But, installed files will go to the "opponents_candyland" folder without affecting the original game files. So uninstalling is much easier.

Note that due to this, extra finales for Candy, that are included, are only visible for clones of Candy or for Cheeleaders2 clothing set for base Candy/Vivian. If you want them for base Candy/Vivian, install the Extra Finales pack separately.

Updated to version 1.6. Now compatible with the 1.6 version of CSP.

The most impactful change was making room for Candy/Denise's finale from the lounge to work in the void area.

Updated to version 1.7. Now compatible with the 1.7.1 version of CSP.
The only changes are in relation to matching extra Candy's finales to those from the Extra Finales pack that was updated recently.
