Report any bugs here!

When I go to run the download after extracting it, it won't let me go any farther with the download than that.

Developer

Try redownloading, sounds like a corrupted download

Please tag the game for linux so that the itch.io app can download it on linux. The game works well on linux when downloaded manually.

Developer(+1)

I'll look into it, thanks for letting me know :)

trying to download 0.20 on Android and it's saying there's a conflict and won't update. Love this game but would rather not have to start over again

Developer

Unfortunately Android builds are provided as is. Due to having to reinstall my work machine, there's some issues between old builds of the Android build and the new. My only suggestion is to start a new game, even if that is annoying to do.

hint for megprogress 24 is missing, should be 'visit her at home'. was quite confusing, the long if chain with that value gave me the Meg's hint as "I should continue Meg's storyline." :)

V0.22 crashes on Android when logging out from the computer in the game.

Developer

A fixed version will be uploaded today. Look out for V0.22.1 :)

Thank you very much PTGames.

Hi there,

I've noticed a few bugs with v1.0 of Episode 1 that I wanted to make you aware of.

The first is that when visiting Katie in the bathroom on Sunday afternoons, it doesn't use up a timeslot.

The Second is that when accompanying Amy to the Club for the second time, it only uses the afternoon timeslot, leaving the evening still available.

The third is a full blown crash when attempting to view the replay of returning to the Library with Claire when meeting the two police officers for the first time.  I've included the traceback below.

While running game code:

  File "game/houseroom_labels.rpy", line 109, in script call

    call sleep_loop from _call_sleep_loop

  File "game/pc.rpy", line 2007, in script

    call screen claire_statsscr()

ScriptError: could not find label 'claire_movie_replay'.

-- Full Traceback ------------------------------------------------------------

Full traceback:

  File "C:\Program Files (x86)\PTGames\Lunar's Chosen - Episode 1\LunarsChosen-1.0-pc\renpy\bootstrap.py", line 275, in bootstrap

    renpy.main.main()

  File "C:\Program Files (x86)\PTGames\Lunar's Chosen - Episode 1\LunarsChosen-1.0-pc\renpy\main.py", line 670, in main

    run(restart)

  File "C:\Program Files (x86)\PTGames\Lunar's Chosen - Episode 1\LunarsChosen-1.0-pc\renpy\main.py", line 144, in run

    renpy.execution.run_context(True)

  File "C:\Program Files (x86)\PTGames\Lunar's Chosen - Episode 1\LunarsChosen-1.0-pc\renpy\execution.py", line 955, in run_context

    context.run()

  File "game/houseroom_labels.rpy", line 109, in script call

    call sleep_loop from _call_sleep_loop

  File "game/pc.rpy", line 2007, in script

    call screen claire_statsscr()

  File "C:\Program Files (x86)\PTGames\Lunar's Chosen - Episode 1\LunarsChosen-1.0-pc\renpy\script.py", line 1013, in lookup

    raise ScriptError("could not find label '%s'." % str(original))

ScriptError: could not find label 'claire_movie_replay'.

I hope these observations help, and thanks for creating a very enjoyable story.

Thanks for letting me know.

The Katie timeslot I believe was intentional, in that not a lot happens, so shouldn't take up a timeslot.

The Amy in the club scene only going forward one timeslot was also intentional, as it's not meant to be that she is in the club for the whole evening, only an hour or so, leaving much of the evening free.

The crash should be fixed in the next update though!

Ah right, that's what I get for making assumptions based on previous versions. hehe

Thanks for the quick reply though, and I'll be sure to let you know if I encounter anymore crashes since I'm currently playing through the episode from the start once again.

Oh, and I'm very much looking forward to Episode 2.

Apologies for the double post.  Just a quick thought entered my head having hit Tuesday evening.  Given the rather quick peek into the bathroom on this occasion, should it maybe also not take up a timeslot?

I've spotted a few more things as I've progressed tonight.

The first appears to be a minor error in continuity during the sunbathing event with Claire, where she receives a message from her boss and has to rush back to work.  During this, she mentions receiving an e-mail from him once a week.  In the follow-up event where the player character (I'm new to games like this, but I gather you refer to him as MC) stops Claire from punching said boss, she refers to receiving the afore mentioned e-mail once a month.

The next is a costuming discontinuity during both encounters with the drug dealer at Amy's gym.  When he's in the background of those scenes, he wears a pair of tight dark coloured jeans with black boots over them.  However in the close-up shots, he wears a more traditionally fitted pair of sandy blue jeans with tan coloured boots tucked underneath them.

Skipping forward quite a bit in the story, I remember encountering an issue with Claire's birthday event on the yacht when going with Sam to the bridge in versions 0.23 through 0.26.  If you choose to have sex with her with her penis, once that part of the event concludes, the subsequent conversation with Amy on the inflatable pool lounger is completely skipped, instead jumping straight to the MC going to check on Claire after she went inside.  Since I'm still quite a ways from that in v1.0, I obviously don't know if you have already fixed it, but I figure I should mention it now, just in case it's something you weren't made aware of prior to launching the completed episode.

On that note, something tells me if I make too many of these posts, you might quickly get fed up of seeing my name, PTGames. :-)

Not at all :) As long as your posts are constructive, I'm happy to read them!

I'll take a look into these, thanks for letting me know.

I appreciate the sentiment and rest assured, I'm nothing if not anal when it comes to endeavouring to make my posts constructive... although upon reflection, given the content of the game, it may have been wiser to rephrase that. lol

Continuing in that vein, when uploading and viewing Amy's second photo shoot on the computer, the final picture of her smiling on the poolside lounger is missing.

I’ve also noticed a costuming discontinuity with the differing lengths of Amber’s top during her first two visits.  Since I was struggling to adequately describe the issue, I decided to go with the old addage that a picture is worth a thousand words.

I’ve spotted a few more things over the last couple of days.

There is a discontinuity between the dialogue and images when Amy asks the MC to watch her dance.  In the seventh frame/paragraph, it states “You take a seat as she begins to dance, moving in long graceful movements, in perfect sync with the music.”  However, in the subsequent images, the MC remains standing during the performance, as he’s visible in mirror.

Next, during the MC’s birthday event, Claire talks to him about the equipment she needs for the club.  During this, she says that the cost of delivery is a couple of hundred dollars, as opposed to the $100 price we pay in the store.

Also, thanks to Episode 2, I’ve just realised the cinema isn’t highlighted on the map.
