Hello, is it possible to get a Steam key after having purchased Caves of Qud on itch.io? Most devs allow for this through the itch.io download page.

I am now moving all of my games to Steam and I wouldn't want to miss on having this one over there too.

I'd like to ask this too. I didn't know Caves of Qud was on Steam until after I'd already purchased here. Access to automatic updates and the workshop would be lovely.

Same. It's kind of hard choosing between DRM and cloud saving rather than just getting both versions

Hi there - I'm interested in this too.  I'm sick of the Mac version needing to run terminal commands to get it to work.

I also add my vote to getting a free steam key with purchase of the itch edition!

I also add my vote to getting a free steam key with purchase of the itch edition! DRM is always the preferred way to go, but having a steam key as well would be a bonus, which most devs offer on itch. Thanks again for your awesome work on this game.

I'd like to ask te opposite :) I bought it on steam but now I am on a PC on which I cannot install the Steam client on. May I have an itch.io code? Thanks.

Getting a steam key with the itch.io edition would greatly increase my likelihood of purchasing the game! I enjoy being able to start the game up immediately without needing to log into Steam, but sometimes Steam's auto updating and cloud saving is more convenient.

Also chiming in to say a Steam key would be an appreciated bonus with the itch.io purchase, if possible

I too am in favor of this. I belive there is a feature that allows itch->steam key, so I hope it is within the devs' consideration.

I prefer to support Itch, but if I had fully known the complexity of the game, and how much I would play it, I would have purchased through Steam.  Please consider offering a Steam key to early supporters.

I also think this!

It would be very generous or perhaps a 50% discount for the steam version if you bought on Itch. But I'm not sure how that would work.
