How is Tunic so popular? I have all these games and nobody can see them. Tunic is always on the front page. Can someone give me an opportunity to do the same thing? The Chinese romantic novels are always top 10, always the best, always a ton of comments, downloads and purchases.  And me here can't get a single coin.

Give it some time. You've been here for five months. Becoming established takes a while. Keep up the good work, keep talking to people, and have confidence!

That tunic was released on the same day I released my game. Yet, Tunic is on the first page, and I'm still unknown.

Tunic was not a random choice.  It has five years of hype behind it, and was positively reviewed by numerous major publications like PC Gamer.  It would naturally be featured here, as is anything that gains significant attention outside of Itch.  You shouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, contrasting your own games' success to others is rarely helpful- espcially when it's Finji who are one of the strongest indie pubs/devs around.

So you are saying that Finji is something like the God of Indie games. I didn't hear a thing.

They have a great track record- Night in the Woods was massive. People even had tattoos of the characters.

Either way, I think if you're going to compare games, then I'd recommend comparing games that are similar to yours and trying and figure out what they're doing that you can learn from- whether this is the game's presentation, marketing or whatever.

I wouldn't worry too much about games you have no interest in. Basically because this won't help your games.

And some people tattoo Volkswagen on themselves, but VW is a piece of junk. However comparing games may work for popularization. From what you saw you know I'm going for Triple A. I don't know why I even explained that.

If someone is looking for Game Development Inspiration, I am your man. Thank you!
