It was a sad regular itch.io day, while I was browsing through projects, Suddenly My eyes stuck on a project named "Makeworld" , I too had made a game called Make world last year.. So, I thought what kind game is it. I saw the game and was like Minecraft but better. With a detailed and explained storyline. Engaging content and good features... which Minecraft too didn't have. (Nor did my game). I started researching about the developer, so called "Smelly pizza". I thought that he stole my game's name(which is no longer mine). Then I found that this guy didn't steal my game's name and tried different names first. He was a hard worker yet no one to buy his game. His game seemed good. In fact it was free for some random hours(When I downloaded it, cuz i got no money). I ran the game to find beautiful graphics, unique and intelligent game mechanics and world class AI. It was hard to get the first supplies(wood of course) because the ducks kept killing me, but then the adventure went on, i crafted guns, cars, overpowered tools and even found easter eggs. Storyline can be used to make a Hollywood movie. Game was great.
I'm promoting his game because I liked the name, the game and the cause of the sale(which is funny but sad) I got the game for free (old version of course) but it's paid now... And hasn't got any purchases either...
To the point game is much like RLcraft mod in Minecraft but makes no resemblances to either mod or Minecraft (it doesn't uses Minecraft). You can think of it as the better Minecraft or RLcraft(It's easier than RLcraft).(I'm not associated with the game or the developer "Smelly pizza")
Please help him/her by buying his game...
Skrill is a good platform, I've been using it since 2015 and it never upsets me. Skrill is cheaper than PayPal. When you're paying online, PayPal asks a 4.50% service fee, while Skrill has a 2.99% service fee. If you want to add money to your Skrill or PayPal wallet the service fee depends on the payment method you're using. So, I'll prefer using Skrill as both as a buyer and a seller on itch.io . Because in my country, We prefer Paytm or Skrill as a method. Paypal has done the wrong job of conversion in many countries. I'll give you the example of my freelancer brother :
•Money sent from US : 225 USD
•Fee deducted as Paypal fee: 12.04 USD
•Conversion rate provided : 1 USD to 68 INR
•(Although actual conversion rate that day was 1 usd to 71 INR )
•What he finally recieved in INR : 14,570.56
•What should he had got if there were no fee and conversion rate was perfect : 15,991.38
•Total loss: 1421 , which is ~10% !!
•Hence if you recieving 100 USD , then what you actually getting is 90 USD,
Another reason to avoid PayPal for Indians(along with many more countries)
I'm not saying to replace Paypal but you can add Skrill as a method.
