TIC-80

Fantasy computer for making, playing and sharing tiny games. · By Nesbox

When we’ll get those features?

I really wouldn’t mind paying $10 for TIC-80 PRO if it had exportation without Editor and, something I consider way more useful, image importation.

I’d like to create my art in Aseprite / LibreSprite, and import it into TIC-80.

You can export without editor using the "alone=1" option, e.g.:

export win mygame.lua alone=1

There's also an "import" command for importing sprites, tiles, etc. All documented here:

I guess the misconception comes from the main itch.io TIC-80 page, where I can read it’s WIP feature:

EXTRA EDITORS

you can export your game only without editors, and then publish it to app stores (WIP)

Okay. As soon as we have that feature (alone=1) enabled and working, I intent to purchase TIC-80 PRO.

Until then I’ll wait.

It is enabled and working! I have the pro version and have confirmed it works.

Cool! Lemme purchase it then! 🤗
