I feel like this game could use a bit more tweaking. Even though you start out with a heal spell, it seems to almost always do less damage than a regular attack on any given target. Additionally, I have found almost no reason to use the lightning spell on anything at all? It does so little damage, even though you can use it to hit multiple targets the only time you ever face more than one of anything is when you're facing two slimes, and even then you're better off using pretty much anything else to kill them faster.

I am intrigued by the poke skill you get from being scorpioned! However, as is for the most part being changed feels more like a hindrance than a game mechanic. It's the only change that seems to do anything notable and isn't a game over I found. Are there more I missed? Also the poison could maybe stand to be made more likely for the TP investment, or garunteed even for the low damage it does. IDK.

I was definitely a little sad to find out that getting turned into a doll meant basically nothing, and you could only do it once.

It also feels a little cumbersome to only be able to do things like get the elemental stone and open chests while human, as well as being completely useless at combat. The scorpions you fight do more damage to you than the slimes did by a longshot, but when you get turned into one you can't even graze a random thief?

Anyway these are just my thoughts. I am intrigued by what I've seen so far! please don't take this as a sign to stop.

I'll try to answer all of your questions and explain some of the things you encountered.

I didn't really understand what you wanted to say about the Heal Spell? You mean that it doesn't do much damage the spell itself or that it doesn't heal too much the Player? About the Spark Spell, I know it do very little damage since I nerfed it a bit too much, in the Beta Ver (next version) I'll buff it a bit again so it's not completely useless. 

About being TFed is more of a hindrace, it is actually like that, in this game getting TFed isn't the best option at all, of course the Player can try out all of the transformations but to progress in the story they must try to remain human! The TFs will still help the player learning new permanent skills to go on on their journey, so let's say that getting transformed has good and bad sides at the same time.


You are right about the Poke Skill and I'll surely lower it's TP costs, and yeah there are some more skills obtainable with TFs! The Ramming Skill you see in the Special Tab is given to you after the first Cow TF (as I forgot to mention, in the game, that you learned it), but there are more obtainable! I'll not spoiler the Skills theirselves but I can suggest to try getting TFed into a frog, a raddish aswell! (Check the Spoilers and TFs folder if you need help! It's in the game main folder)

About the doll, I'll make the Player able to re-TF into it again in the Beta ver.  and about the skill I was honestly without ideas for it. I may add one, if you wanna suggest a fitting skill for it I'd be glad to hear it!

The fact that some actions requires you to be human are more of a game mechanic themself: as I told you before the Player is needed to be human to progress in the story and most of the forms the Player can be TFed into aren't very "humanoid" that's why the chests cannot be opened. About the Elemental Stone it was more of a nerfing, since, I don't know if you tried, but if you fail to press Spacebar you'll get TFed into a cockroach (sorry to spoiler it if you didn't ;w;) and well it would be pretty weird just going in again after a few seconds and getting the Stone. 

I might try to change some of this stuff, beside the obvious ones like the Poke skill, the Doll re-TF and its skill.

Forgot to write this, the scorpions deal way more damage since they are much stronger enemies. I used a game mechanic that's often seen in RPG games which is: the more you progress in the various zones of the game, the more the enemies you'll encounter will be way stronger, same for the Bandits. The slimes are very weak so that the Player can LVL up easier with them, they are the weakest enemies in the game, followed by fairies, then plants, then scorpions and then bandits.

yeah! Scorpions being more powerful than slimes makes sense. It just feels strange to me that when turned into a scorpion, you are about as effective in combat as anything else thats not a human.


About the heal spell, it simply seems like something you never want to cast in combat ever. Most, if not all enemy attacks seemed to do more in damage than a heal spell is ever able to accomplish in one turn iirc? So if you use heal for 200 health and get hit for 250 all you've managed to accomplish is reduce the damage taken by 50, at the cost of 5 mp. And it cost the enemy nothing to do this so its kind of just a waste of time.

Uhhh puppet power: maybe an attack that reduces enemy physical or magical defense or damage?

I understand I'll see to buff it a bit :3, oh and it sounds like a nice idea! 

Healing skill as a out of combat healing using MP potion in exhchange, resting is quite different as it doen't recover MP.

The frequency for Fairy using "Prank" skill is too low, I wait for more than 3,40 round in total and it still not trigger.

Ill try to increase the frequence of the "Prank" skill in the next version! Thanks for the report!

I’d like to suggest 100% use the "Prank" skill at 8 to 10 round as the Fairy get bored in fighting (And for the player who want to win should be able to win the fairy before that) 

I looked into the game's code (sorry). It seemed like a Fairy uses Prank only if it's damaged (sorry again if it's incorrect).

Prank has 3 different (seemingly random) outcomes, but in my playthrough I got Frog TF a few times in a row, then Cow TF a few times in a row. Maybe some mechanic to reduce this behavior of randomness could help. The easiest I can think of is to rotate between those outcomes (e.g. Frog, then Cow,  then Pig, then Frog again).

I have been unable to beat the dragon at the start. the dmg it does is impossible to deal with.

Heya! For the dragon you mostly need to Lvl up a bit by defeating the lower lvl monsters- Sadly the game is very broken on the combat and exp side due to my non-experience with making rpg games xwx- Sorry for the long wait too, kinda busy with school stuff atm xwx
