[ANSWERED] Patreon Version - Faster Downloads?

Hi there, i've got a question? Can the Patreon Version download faster and can i run mutiple download commands or only one?

I'm using the current Verion 1.7.3.

I'd like to know this too. I've been downloading 2K-quality videos just fine with the free version, but I do hope that the Patreon version is much faster. My main aim is to download my VR collection (so I'd need the Patreon version regardless), and they have much larger file sizes than 2K-quality movies. I'd like a little reassurance that the Patreon version will download faster so that I can work out a personal download schedule accordingly.

The Patreon version is definitely faster. I can't say exactly how much because the itch.io version was only able to download HD and the Patreon version is downloading 4K, but the 4K download is a bit quicker than the HD download was with the itch.io version.

Batch downloads are supported in the Patreon version, but I haven't figured out how to do that.

Same here, I will be subbing come October! It is strange that Patreon payment bases a "month" on a calendar month rather than when you begin subbing :/

Nevertheless, only a few more days left before we can speed up preserving our JAV collection!

Hi there! I can confirm that this is accurate. The itch.io version is based off a very old build which uses the original (outdated) backend. Due to major changes and optimisations, the Patreon version has significantly better performance. Ie. Users have reported that operations that used to take more than an hour, are now finishing within 30 minutes or less.

Just go to the post that has the latest version (1.12.9) for the download links. Then look at the welcome mail you received for a hint to the password needed to open the .rar.

Thanks very much for pointing me to the post containing the downloads. I see the hint in the welcome email that I received, but I can't figure out what the "project name" is. Can you give me a hint as to where I could find that? Thanks again.

Well, the hint in the mail gives you everything you need. And once you figure it out, you will kick yourself because it was so obvious. I'm not comfortable giving any more hints, because the dev clearly doesn't want the password being mentioned here. If you absolutely can't figure it out, he mentioned the Discord as the place to ask.
