I'm a 2d/3d animator, while im not a professional I know how to get things done and know my fundamentals. However that's all I know. I know animation only, I cant draw, create 3d assets or rig. Big studios have different departments that do those other things but when I comes to small scale indie dev stuff I dont know. I'm sure having the other skills would help when finding work but do I need them now?
I'm not looking for work at the moment just getting a check on what I NEED to know before I start looking and applying. What are you looking for when hiring/working with an animator. I would appreciate any feed back on my question and hope its understandable. :)
