How to stop emails from games purchased in a bundle?

Hello,

A while back I purchased the Ukraine game bundle. Ever since then I have been receiving email notifications any time there is an update to one of the hundreds of games on the list. So far the only option I have found is to unsubscribe from them one at a time as the emails come into my inbox. I would like to unsubscribe from all of these emails going forward. Is there a way to do this?

Heya,

You can disable all emails by navigating to your email settings here: https://itch.io/user/settings/email-notifications

Granted, I believe this turns off any and all emails--including those from itch.io itself--and there's no option to disable just from games you might own without manually unsubscribing each time. But if that didn't bother you, this absolute option is here!

Hey.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately this option is not suitable for me. I don't want to turn off ALL emails from itch.io. There are certain games that I want to follow and continue getting emails about. I just want to be able to turn off the emails for all of the other games that I'm not actively following.

If there was some way to just clear them all out, then I could subscribe to the 2 or 3 games I want to get emails from, that would be awesome. But since I can see people asking this same question in the forum going back years I feel like it's just stuck this way. Odd way to have a store set up.

Ah, that's fair for sure, and hopefully a solution can be found or developed for those facing the same issues as you!

I think to a degree, the site just wasn't built with these large-scale bundles in mind so potential issues do arise with large libraries and everything they entail and cracks begin to surface and that as of right now, the manpower just isn't there to develop and accommodate for it still, or the other quality of life things people have been asking for over the years. That's just my guess, though, and it could be for any number of reasons that certain requests and such aren't acted on.

I get it. Though to be honest it kinda rubs me the wrong way that in all of the posts I've seen about this issue, at most I've seen a mod / admin come in, make a couple of suggestions, then just disappear. Like, at least just make a statement to definitively say it is or isn't possible. I would understand that, but the lack of communication and seemingly deliberately ignoring the complaints just annoys me.

Still seeking assistance with this problem.

Agree, had to create an account to disable all emails instead of there just being an option to opt out of all the emails during a purchase or in the emails themselves. Buying bundles shouldn't mean instantly subscribing to emails from devs of hundreds of games, and it's a huge oversight to only have this option as an account setting or to have to individually unsubscribe.

There is an option to Unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails, but you have to do it 1 at a time as the emails trickle in.....
