Humans have a decent health bonus, nothing like some of the realy tough races, but OK. They also have a small bonus for collection tasks. Nothing real to give a hint for a build. I usually choose fighter as the first class, so three points into Physical and five into Social., then maybe 1 for Wits and 1 for Sex The Sex trait is Irresistable which make the initial seduction easier and the other trait is Prodigy which helps gain classes faster This has always made the early game smoother. Of course, this basically a Fighter build, but your max health and Physical will be lower than the tougher races. Humans don't have good boosts for Magic so a Mage build will be a little weaker to start. If you start with a free slave, choose a race and initial class to balance your MC.
