Lying in tax interview

I have a question. What will happen if I input fake but valid data in my tax interview to avoid the 30% stealing from the US government? Are there any consequences?

They most likely think you are doing Identity Theft with Offshore Accounts; if you take it too far maybe also Zero Wage Claims and Disguised Business Ownership.

You could face 20 years or more in jail time.

Please don't do this. Our tax information collection service does identity verification with the information you provide. If verification fails we will not pay and pending balances. If we have reason to believe you're committing fraud we'll suspend your account.

I won't, really. I though about it but I won't do it. Still, it's a bummer to get 30% of my earnings just gone.

That is called partnership: https://www.thebalancesmb.com/why-your-partnership-needs-a-written-agreement-398...

While I'm not tempted to lie, I will note that I have no idea how to legitimately state "This is a collective or partnership, but not a registered business", which means I don't know how to honestly host a number of things I've made with others on here.

You are the owner if the game if the game's art, music, code, etc; is rightfully given or created by you or someone else. I do not know what you mean by  "This is a collective or partnership, but not a registered business", but there is two ways i know to say this legally.

- You are either in a temporary partnership or in a partnership with the person.

- You are the sole proprietorship and you hired someone.

Partnership and Sole proprietorship are two different things. Sole proprietorship is only you the person who the IRS will talk to you while Partnership is two or more people the IRS wants to talk.
