Just did a simple run, but for the moment seems really a nice game, great work. Will play more the upper levels to see how it changes.

Thanks for this nice comment, try to reach the last level it's a really different one !

As I wanted the game to be a "non-killing-space-shooter" I had to find some other ending-challenge than the usual "final boss", hope you'll be able to reach it and enjoy it ^^

Finally finished the game, nice change with the last level, luckily I bough some extra ship and I managed to survive some difficult steering thanks to the boost speed. I enjoined playing it, as a fist game I would say a real success. As suggestion I would add some more weapon, like something that fires also diagonally, maybe a temporary shield that gives indestructibility for some seconds. The Level 4 and 7 where you can only evade are difficult and you don't have any reward at the end, maybe throw a couple of diamonds here and there.. or at the end two mystery "?"  treasure that can give you money or weapons.

Definitely a shield bonus is a good idea and I'll add it in next version !

I also like your suggestion of adding some rewards on levels 4 and 7 ! (and maybe some "gravity blasts" and shields here and there)
But I think the rewards must be gold ore rather than diamonds otherwise I fear to unballance the shop.
Talking about ballance, I have the feeling that after some levels the shop tends to loose it's interest because you don't have anything else to buy did you have that feeling too ? I was considering making the golden skin very expensive (like being an hard achievement) and activating a little percentage of the "bonuses attractor magnet" permanently (except in the cave level) when you buy it...

yeah the shop does not attract much at the end, maybe each skin should give a little bonus, like one give a bit more speed, one bullets are more powerful, one has speedier bullets, one has the ship more sturdy, one give a bit of permanent magnet like you said.

I really like your game. And the music is awesome and hypnotizing. Great piece of fun. 
I have Pico-8 on my ARM based handheld console, and unfortunately I can't play it on that. 
Would it be possible to distribute it also as an pico-8 png file?

So good!  I loved playing this.  I love the shop and the pickups.  I love the general feel of screaming through an asteroid field.  It feels natural and chaotic.  I really love the planets in the background and your star system.  It looks so cool!  Your music is great too!  Overall amazing game!

Btw, I'm here because @Krystman posted your game on his Advanced tutorial.  I too was late to the showcase.  Maybe I should send him my project as well, although it's a lot rougher around the edges than yours and does not deviate from the original recipe as well as yours does!

Seriously, this is fantastic!  Keep it up!
