If you run into a bug (or suspected bug!) while playing, please post here with instructions to reproduce and I'll take a look. -Dev

I'm not sure if this counts as a bug but I just never got the "Caroline gets out" ending the way it is described in the script.

Everything appears to be normal until the credits roll over the blank CRT. After the credits are done the game just force-crashes instantly without the corrupted Caroline cutscene playing. I'm assuming the cutscene is still supposed to be there since a lot of the bonus content references it.

I'm not really sure how to reproduce this bug(?). I guess I got the "Caroline gets in" ending twice by accident before getting the other one. Maybe getting that ending first has some kind of effect on the other one? I genuinely don't know.

Either way I hope this report has been helpful and I thank you for the cool video game.

Heyo! This is working as intended. There are some implementation differences between the outline, scripts, and final game. You might see some changes to the content or phrasing of dialogue as well vs the script. Some of the changes were for creative reasons and others because of time/code constraints.

Unfortunately that cutscene was one of the ones that didn’t make it due to time constraints—it required a lot of unique art assets and was going to be a massive pain to put together, so I abbreviated it to the force crash instead. I’m still a fan of the writing for it, though, so maybe it’ll return in a future update.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense.

Shame you couldn't fit the funny scene in there but good news: I didn't find any bugs :D

If you skip talking to caroline in the stairs room, and just go straight through the door, the room loops, but this time the bookcase won't move, because it has already moved so it just says "it moved on its own" when you interact with it. You cannot go back through the entrance door.

Not sure if this soft lock is intentional or not haha, but it seems to be a thing, unless I just can't figure my way through it and it isn't a softlock at all

Ah, yup, that’s a bug! Good catch. I’m releasing a QoL patch soon and will hit this 👍
