Looking for Help to Get My Game Indexed on Itch.io

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with getting my game indexed on itch.io. I uploaded the game on the platform since last month, but it hasn't appeared in search results yet. I've checked the documentation on indexing, but I still have some questions about the process.

I understand that this forum is meant for community support and not for direct communication with site administrators. However, any assistance or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

Hi! I think I'm having the same problem :)

I posted my game 1 day ago, but it doesn't show up in search: https://sexgamedevil.itch.io/juliet-ragdoll

You need to wait a few more days, I recommend a week because itch.io has had problems indexing games due to many new games being published or at least that's what I understand.

Strange, because I can search for games that were published a few minutes ago.
Anyway thank you for the reply, I'll try to wait a few days and see what happens.

Some games are indexed fast and some are not.

There is no official documentation that tells you exactly why but from what I have read on the forum.

Free games from people who already have other projects uploaded are usually indexed quickly.

First game, or if the game is paid or if something calls attention, surely it enters a queue to be reviewed manually and apparently that queue is the one that takes a long time to be reviewed.

The other thing, it is better that you ask your questions in your own thread, around here the only thing you get is to obstruct any answer to the person who opened the thread.
