Just a couple notes on chapters 1-19...

I finally got through chapters 1-19. Overall, very good game, or else I wouldn't bother commenting on it. It actually gets better as it goes along, and I look forward to what is coming. I do have a few notes I want to give, though...

As I mentioned in another post earlier, the protagonist is an INSUFFERABLE Mary Sue. Though I now concede, he does face some actual challenges in the later chapters, so that mitigates it somewhat... Not all the way, though. He's still just terrible...

All the pop culture references and millennial slang... it's just too much. A few are really good. The "uncle fucker" dialog had me rolling on the floor. But sometimes it's just so gratuitous it makes me want to puke.

But I think the idea of being married to a woman with a sexy daughter by a previous marriage, then dumping the wife and hooking up with the younger, sexier stepdaughter is pretty fucking hot. And irrespective of how she's introduced, I love the character of Valerie. LOVE her! I mean her personality, her looks, her attitude, everything about her. She's like the perfect woman. My compliments to the chef who cooked her up. I mean, honestly, whenever I got sickened by how much of an insufferable Mary Sue the protagonist is and was a hair's breadth away from quitting playing because of it, which happened more times than I can count, the realization that there would soon be another scene with Valerie kept me going. I just wish boring old Tilly would get out of the way so I could concentrate on Valerie fully. Harems are so overrated.

Anyway, I have more I would like to say, but I'll save it till after I've played the whole game. This is not even close to my favorite game, but it's definitely captured my interest, which makes it better than 95 percent of the games on Itch. I very much look forward to seeing what happens next!
