Thanks for contacting us! Unfortunately, this is a Renpy/Python issue when using the newer versions to load previous saves. It effects different save files differently, so if one of your save files doesn't work, please try another one.

As we do with almost every new update and version we release for our games that are still in-production,  we're always looking to make upgrades to the game mechanics, text, and images of previous chapters/releases. If your save file was saved at a point where one of these changes was made, there's a chance it might not load due to the way the Renpy program is. If this happens, please try loading a different save.

In The Button, there is a goth style character named Gwen who doesn't take any bull from the main character (her stepfather) and also a cheerleader named Ariel who kinda does the same. If you like tsundere/dominating type girls you can try Powers That Be and No Place Like Home. Both of which have at least one main girl who has a strong personality.

We consider ALT CTRL DEL a game with multiple protagonists, which basically means you get to make choices for all the main characters at the appropriate times. In this case it'll be for the 4 main family members - father, mother, son, daughter. In this way, it shows what each character thinks of the new universes/worlds and how each of them interacts with their new surroundings.

We don't want to spoil the overall plots, but we can assure you that Gloria will definitely be popping up every now and then! If you wish to see more of the Powers That Be characters in other stories too, please check out our other games like ALT CTRL DEL, No Place Like Home, and The Button (you can find more links at the bottom of our BOG description page or the Powers That Be page). There may be some cameos in those games that'll pleasantly surprise you!

With regards to the MC, again we don't want to give too much away, but he's not meant to be the tank or heavy hitter. Think of him more as the girls' team leader, and the only one they'll follow to the ends of the earth. It's up to you as the MC how you choose to teach/guide the girls and others around them to grow into what they'll eventually become!

Thanks for playing Powers That Be! Most of our games are updated in increments of 0.0.1 or 0.0.2. The current version of PTB as of time of writing is v0.5.6, so it may take some time until v0.6.0 is out. However, our plan is to eventually upload it to Itch some time after it's released on our Patreon as is our usual protocol.

Hi Maxime, thanks for your comments. With regards to the french phrase used, it's actually a reference to Dexter's Laboratory. For the player's actions, it's mentioned many times by both Bryan and the other characters that he does feel a lot of remorse for his part in the divorce.
