Very good, I'm waiting for official release !

The three part game design is a great idea and the game is more deep than I thought it would be at first glance on the RPG side. I stopped playing the demo with more than twenty hours on it, cause I realize how long this would be to play this non-finished game, and how frustrating it would be to redo all the game when it will be released.

So I just let this post to encourage you to continue, and tell you it's already on my wishlist on Steam. Now I know how it is fun to play it, I really prefer to wait the official release and buy it, than to continue what I have now for free. Nice work guys !

Juste a few comments to say what I liked and what could be more fun to me (no order, sorry) :

- the IRL part is only story telling and I wish I could explore a bit (to get compliments or to discover a spot by myself). Sometimes, it's a bit long too, juste to show small changes. The illusion of free moves is important. ^-^'

- I really like the part in mind of Aura, but what seemed me a real freedom to break her at the beginning, became limited on first room, because at a point there was nothing more to do (because I was exploring Roya instead of making quests ?). The way Alicia first corrupt trivials part of mind to reach her more deeply seems a nice idea. I had the feeling to begin something very twisted with just small touchs.

- It could be fun to have the possibility to choose a path to corrupt Aura. Maybe It's more this way with lewdness and selfishness on second room, but I didn't felt that way in the first room. I hope this is like it and that more curses will make more paths appear.

- The "hero-team" is a scam for important battles, even when they rules over normal NPCs. For exemple : in the fight against Mammon and Warwin, they're just flesh targets to Mammon. And it's when they have maximum protection, WTH ? To make it on the "Pokemon fight" after this fight, I had to load a new game (after a no-fight Pokemon game over), and break the collar on second fight to make sure they did not die like morons at first Mammon major attack. When I try to not make Aura corrupt, it's bothersome to see that I can win against Arwin and Mammon without Star Knightess, but that I'm busted in the Pokemon fight if Aura is alone to stay alive at this point. When I first did it, there was no way I could figure what would coming next, and it's no fun to be owned because of that. If hero-team shall be more lvl-up before important fights, maybe it could be usefull to say it in a RPG way before to go in the Arwin domain.

- First time in Aura's mind, I was feeling like playing white AND black chess pieces, but soon after I realize that use corruption points was the only way to protect will and soul of Aura and to give her a chance to not being so much cursed for fights. Bright ! I love this twisted way of thinking. It build a will to corrupt her the most, even if the player want to keep her the most from corruption points ! Awesome !

- Most of drawing are cool (and I hope more characters will have theirs for talks in the final game), but Richard is awfull. Not awfull like he's the bad guy so he's ugly, the problem is that he doesn't fit the rest of drawning, like if it was from another drawer (in a bad day). There's also a proportion problem between him and others characters when they talk. His head seems too small (and what is this hair ?!?). It was difficult to concentrate to another thing when I realized it, like a piece of salad on teeths.

- Free exploration and choices to optimize gear, spells, mana, etc... I liked it. Sometimes I died when pushing too far on a new aera, but this was "not so severe deaths" so I accepted it. The fact I only needed a few exploration for advance on story and that I can (or can not) continue to search ennemis, ingredients and golds by risking my life, this was nice. I felt free of choices, I like it.

- The way ennemies die only once is cool. I had the feeling to make a change in Roya, to make a way on areas, and finally to lack on ennemies for golds. This put a pression on choices to earn it well and speld it the best way.

- No shitty farm to get XP ? Selestine approved. Should be the standard.

- Penises are drawn too simply, I don't like them. Lame comment, I know, but this is important to keep to mood to have good penises and not some pink tubes with red top. Even good food is better when it's great to look at.

You have the opportunity to heal up before and in-between the fights of the Pokémon battle.

Aura's non-slime allies being underpowered seems to be a frequent point of criticism of this game.  While you can use vitality potions to increase their hp, another option to empower Aura's allies in chapter 1, either through gold, time, questing, lewds, or new game+ would be welcome.

The implication I got from Richard's head being proportionally smaller was that he's a tall guy.

I didn't see any moment I could heal that team of useless royans out of fights, but maybe my version of the game was too old. I don't know if is possible to strength them in a way or another, but it is an issue. Aura is so much stronger than them that they seem like beginning mobs when time pass.

Richard should be less zoom ouf if he is this tall, and something should really be done about his looks. ^^ A great bad guy is the key of success in any good story. Imagine Darth Vader with Tokyo Hotel hair under his armor. Richard looks like it to me.

After fighting Arwin the first time, Aura has to pick which of her allies to send out for the Pokémon fight. Before picking an ally, press X to enter the menu and feed a bunch of apples to your wounded ally(or just spend perika to heal them up if you don't have any apples). Starshine should be enough to let them win against the Avian, Jellyfish, and Mutated Hydrangea provided Aura's level is high enough.

Allies slowly gain experience. Each level adds some HP and +1 to their stats. Base rate is 1 exp per day. Pre-festival, you can bump that to 2 exp/day by collecting and selling 5 star metal to the blacksmith.

A better Vader example would be David Prowse's voice acting, since that was real and changed.

Mmmmmmh ! Didn't think about getting in the menu at that time ! (and also I don't think I had so much apple ^^')
I don't know about the Starshine thing at this point. I have won without it, I tought it was a story thing, not a accurate power I could use on my team. Did I just play like an idiot ? ><

I got the 2XP/day already, but I didn't know it should be so hard (or they could be really usefull this time). Again : a little message before entering Arwin domain could be great. It's cool the game save himself, but if we save on the same slot later...

I agree for Vader voice, but they cut his dawn hair, at last. :p

The skill is listed in the special tab. It's always active after it unlocks and basically adds Aura's level to that of her allies. You can see the effects when you check your allies' status. The Pokémon battle itself serves to showcase how starshine means your allies can suddenly handle enemies they used to struggle against.

An early +1 experience/day can give your allies an extra level for the festival, this means +4 damage on a 4 power attack and -2 damage from enemy attacks that have 2 mitigation(which is most of them). For most of the festival battles, it means needing 1-2 fewer hits to kill an enemy and enemies maybe needing 1 more hit to kill your ally. Faster kills and less damage taken means less healing necessary, saving you gold/perika.

Incidentally, Charlotte doesn't gain experience while in prison.

I let Charlotte go out of jail really early. I had to learn fire spell to pass the bushes and I sacrificed Aura's butt for the greater good. ^^'

Do you know which price will the game cost at release ?

Is the price a taboo question ? \( >o<)/ Sorry !

Developer

Same price as early access.

Haven't seen a price anywhere on Steam, haven't seen early access too. It only says it will be release in a few month. ( -_-) ?

Presumably that's the itch price of $18.

Thanks ! ( ^ .^) ♥

You can get a better game for 6 bucks that doesn't waste your time.

I don't think Knightess Aura wasted my time, it was good to play, but I'm curious : whose game are you talking about ?

Pseudoregalia

This is like someone saying "I sure like oranges" and you responding "You know what's really good? BEANS."

It's incredible that despite having 4 months to reflect on this you're still recommending a Sonic Adventure-style platformer as an alternative to an Adult RPG.

True. XD

I suppose that is a fair response-it is rather silly.

However, that was the game I was thinking of at that moment. However, for a very different game which costs only two dollars more is Fear and Hunger, which I haven't actually played (since I'm a coward and it looks too nasty) but have heard good things about.

A well-made adult RPG is Small on Top, although it's gay so I doubt there is any interest there. I'd also say Hardcoded is pretty good, although it's a point and click game rather than a RPG.
