Hi, i want to download the File "new-horizons-win.final.zip" but the download failed at 100%.

I load it several times but always the same problem.

Pls help

my download didn't fail but it appears to be missing files, i got into a game but it crashed with missing sound files, and files that weren't correctly labeled .wav's in sound_alias.ini, one was there but not labelled .wav and the other 2 files were missing, something AMBIENT / Shipyard

I think browser downloads can sometimes fail.  I don't deal with that, because that is the Itch platform, that I have no control.  However, I do believe if you use their free client for the download, it does not have the problems that browsers sometimes have.  You don't have to use it to launch the game, but their client my provide a better download experience.  Try that.  If it doesn't download everything properly, you may have to raise a support issue with Itch.

I can also recommend downloading the torrent directly via the piratehorizons.com website, that one works.

i tried using the itch io manager but was having the same problem, i used the version reversion in the game manager and went through every download, the first one that didn't crash when i went to the high seas was the dec 19th 2021 version, thank you for replying i guess i'll try speaking to itch.io
