What is the maximum amount of pages available?

Hello.

I sell many assets for a certain videogame and each assets requires it's own project page with it's own price.

What is the maximum amount of project pages an itch.io account is allowed to pubblish?

The Creator FAQ might help.

"allowed" ;-)

Probably any justifyable amount that does not make your account be considered in violation of quality guidelines.

Might be worthwhile to explain your use-case, eg. how many pages you wish to create, so someone can give you a good idea if what you’re trying to do makes sense. I don’t see any pages on your account currently so it’s hard to make any determination on the kind of content you wish to publish.

In general: Publishing a large volume of content with generated material is in violation of our quality guidelines and will result in your page being unlisted.

i generate around 1 game asset or animation/month, so the problem could arise in 2 years perhaps, when i get close to the 20 project page limit.

I don't really care about being unlisted as long as my pages are accessible from a link because all my marketing stuff is done outside of itch.io

I think leafo meant *AI* generated content, when talking about generated content (or "generated" in contrast to developed/coded material. Like uploading your photo collection or a daily audio blog, because it is "low" effort.). But the answer stands, you have to contact support to lift the soft limit of 20 projects. And a project a month is hardly any spamming.

But it would be good in general, if there would be some kind of subpages or individual priced files to a project. I do not know if your situation would apply, but "dlc", while having a bad connotation for some players, is exactly what would be right for some projects. Things that can be bought extra do not always warrant an extra project. There currently is like one method to buy one extra level of file access, but only at the first purchase, since you cannot increase your donation level.

So buy base game for 10 but do not get the bonus file that is set to 15 - you cannot pay 5 extra later to get the bonus file, like soundtrack or whatever. You would have to pay 15 again. So devs doing it "smart" have to work around the itch payment options and make a separate project for stuff like that.

Here's an account with well over a hundred projects.  Here's another.  If you can match that level of quality, having that many project pages shouldn't be a problem.
