Making levels could be hard or easy. Since your game looks simple, you can try make levels which are:

1. Bigger than previous levels.

2. More complex than previous levels.

3. Has more obstacles/hazards/enemies than previous levels.

4. Literally has more turns and branches than previous levels.

5. Combination of the above.

The results may not be liked but just make as many as you can then play them all. After that assess them and pick the best ones for your game.

Ideas for new levels will come once you come up with new mechanics, or just more obstacles in general.

I'd say to add a level with a mechanic that matches the games simplicity, like color. I noticed that all obstacles are red while the ball is green; Make a color switcher that allows the player to swap between red and green at will, with the obstacles and the ball doing something different if they are green vs red. Maybe obstacles don't stop you if they are green, maybe you can now jump over them if the ball is red. Adding a third or fourth color only expands the arsenal.

Feel free to check my game out as well, I could use some feedback: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo ; In it I've been experimenting with new battles and "levels", seeing if I can present the ideas I've had for a while intuitively

your game was shockingly good i played both the old demo and the new one and i must say the 8-bit musical intro was fantastic that must've took awhile to make good on you! i hope you finish the game cause i will for sure play it

NOTE: the game at the start calling me human gave me Undertale vibes

Thank you, that's great to hear! Yes the intro did take a while to make but it was def worth it. And you can count on it finishing, will put it up on steam with the next release :)
