Noob question - Is there another way to request a refund when the game's support email is broken?

There is a game I would like to have refunded, and while I know it is very unlikely that the request will be granted, I figure I may as well try.  However, when I went to do so, I got an error message about the email being undeliverable - it appears that the email which itch.io lists as the official game support email is down.  In this situation, is there some other way in which I can request the refund (ie, through the itch.io staff instead, even though it normally doesn't work that way)?

To refund a game, please contact itch.io support. That's how it normally works. Game creators have to use the same channel.

Yeah, that's the page I looked at, and under the section that says "Are you looking for support for [relevant game here]?", it tells me to email the developers.  Perhaps I am misunderstanding.

Scroll down a bit.

Oh, I see, you are suggesting the itch.io support email itself.  I could have sworn I read that you weren't supposed to use that email for refund requests, but maybe I confabulated that.  Can't hurt to try it, thanks.

Actually that's the only way to request a refund, either as a player or creator. Maybe it's poorly written somewhere.
