i don't see a way to capture an invader only kill them. if this is in the game can someone tell me how, if it isn't in the game i think that should be added. there were a few invaders i wanted to capture but couldn't find a way to do so i got the lust up couldn't do it i brought the health down it kills them. is there a type of trait or skill or something i need to do it?

You can kill them and reanimate them as Zombies (You Need A Grave Yard) or get them low on health and use Shackles that you can get from Item Market. (You Need A Trading Post) I hope this helps.

You can also craft the shackles yourself using cloth. Scrap clothing items in order to gain the cloth, it takes 6 scraps to craft shackles.

Some of the races also have the ability 'Capture' which can be used during combat.

I know Imp has it, and I think Hobgoblin as well and at least one other race. Can be checked upon character creation.

thanks for the info i found the shackles and learned that shortly after making this post i read about them but couldn't find or craft them for some reason even after making the prison/jail cells, work shop, and binding cells. i ended up putting people in all of these and after a while i was able to do it not sure if the workers where the cause of it but i can do it now

Six scraps of cloth are required to craft your own, and they won't even show up as an option without having all materials necessary. You can buy cheap clothes and scrap or salvage them to get the components if there are no shackles available in the market.

there now seems to be another hidden "tech requirement" of some sort.  i dont know if it is having research, or having a servant with specific traits, of a specific race, another dungeon room, or a level threshold is the trigger.

at one point, i had ~150 scrap cloth, but only the option to craft bandages.  shackles only became available ~2 weeks later.  i cannot tell what the actual trigger was, only that at one time i could not craft them, then i could.

shackles wasent the only crafted item this applied to, either.  i couldent make lavish meals or exp crystals, either.   until like day 60, my available crafting was only demonic brew and bandages, despite having the materials for p much everything else you can craft in the game.
