Currency Disparity

Hey, I'm a huge fan from Brazil and I just wanted to ask some questions regarding the last chapters we'll be getting soon, I hope.

I've been following you guys since the first few chapters, waiting anxiously for each update. I love the game and everything that you've built, it's all very well written and thought and, as a writter myself I'm usually very picky with stories, plots and character development, but I can safely say that this is one of my favorites visual novels (top 2 for sure). Just wanted to make it clear that I agree with your decision to price the game, specially knowing how hard it is to built and develop something that demands so much time and efford.

I've been reading the newsletters with each updates, and I'm so excited for the next chapters and the fact that you guys will finally be able to have compensation for all your hard work. Also, I would like to point out that I definitely agree that indie games shouldn't be scared to price their games, like you've said before. Having said that, I grew a bit worried thinking about having to pay the price in dollars, given it is not my currency.

To explain, I don't know if you are familiar with the currencies in South America, or Brazil, but there's a lot of disparity between them and dollars (for example, 20 dolars for me is almost 100 in my currency - reais -, and even more than that). So, sometimes people that live here are unable to buy and appreciate things because it is much more expensive for us than someone that lives using this currency. Because of that, in some platforms, like Steam, there's something called regional pricing, built in to make more affortable prices to others places. I don't know if that can be done here on itch.io but I am asking because it's something that have been worrying me for a while.

Please note that I am in no way trying to devalue your game and hard work and if you decide that that's not the best for you I will understand, and make an efford to be able to play the game in the future. I would love to be able to pay the full price in dollars and give you the credit you deserve, but I'm very afraid I won't be able to enjoy the game for a long time because of this.

I wish you guys all the best in your development and I hope every person on your team gets recompensation for all their hard work. I love this game and I'm very happy for how far you guys have come. Thank you so much for reading everything <3.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words, we're glad to hear that you enjoy our game so much. As far as we know, itch does not allow regional pricing, so the price for the game will be set the same for everyone on this platform.

We will certainly look into Steams' regional pricing when the time comes for us to release the game there, however we can't make any promises right this moment. We'll make the decision that we decide is best at the time 馃槉

Thank you so much, I understand and wish you all the best in the development <3.
