Why are some tag results hidden while others are not?

I have recently found out that some fetish tags, like rape for example do not show results (despite some games containing the tag) when searched for, while others, like vore do. Despite being equally offputting.

After this, I decided to try out a few other controversial tags to see if there are any more interesting search censors... here are the results:

Cub (has results, 2 of them furry) - if you didn't know, cub is the word used to describe a furry character that is made to look underage
Loli (no results)

Scat (has results)

I can't really think of any more off the top of my head, but yeah... the fact that the censorship isn't consistent is what worries me...

It's not censorship, itch.io doesn't have censorship. It probably depends on what's considered NSFW and marked accordingly.

I have NSFW results enabled. Besides, all of the things I searched for are clearly NSFW.

case sensitive searches

Tags are not case-sensitive

idk waht to tell you "rape" and "Rape" give different results for me

im under the impression that tags are manually set to redirect to the same "tag". so something less common like rape which has only a handful of results wouldnt have been combined by teh site admins

edit: the different results being, teh first one gives me 0 results and the second gives me 31 results
