Modding is great and all but...

Some of the mods I find cause the game to freeze up completely.

Does the game not have a debug mode/console of some kind? How does one find the cause of a mod crashing?

Due to the way mods are loaded, they consume a lot of RAM, if you're on a lower end device (<8GB) or on Android this can cause issues. If the game freezes randomly no matter what you do, that's the most likely reason.

That’s the thing; it isn’t random. It happens every time.

For example, if you try to inspect an enemy from a mod or they do certain actions, it freezes instantly.

Also playing the game on PC, and there’s no instance of FPS dropping or anything like that; it just instantly freezes when certain things happen.

Probably a bit late to this, but I thought to include this: I was trying to use this mod on Beta v1.3 (The Mechanic and the Dreamer)

Maybe the version might have something to do with it, and that’s why I couldn’t really use Jimmy G1’s mods… If things change, I might write another update.

Edit: I just realized that said mods were FOR V1.4; even though it said the minimum version was 1.3 in the mod data, the 7z archive had 1.4 in the name.
